Remington Combined Shear Head SP-399, Combo Pack, Black

I gave this product 5 stars because it breathed new life into my 2 and a half year old shaver. It was real easy to snap together, it took me less than 5 minutes and i was up and running. Small enough to go through the letter box so no travelling down to the post office depot. All in all very happy and would recommend to anyone that needs to save money

Bought this as replacement for my F7790, it fits the unit perfectly and with the new blades the shaver is a pleasure to use again, smooth and quiet. Good value compared to a new shaver, which was a considered option but glad I opted for this, my shaver is like new again. Postage was nice and quick and well packaged, would definitely recommend this seller to others.

I chose this product because it was a genuine Remington. It arrived a couple of days before the expected delivery and was easy to put onto my shaver. This is genuine Remmington spare part, so I was slighly disappointed in that the fit of the foil into the razor is not perfect. One side of the foil does not seat properly. Probably it is intended to fit several different models and there has been a slight compromise. However it does fit the razor, stays in place and works properly! So no real complaint and I was pleased to be able to buy a replacement at all.

I’ve had a few of these now and have always been satisfied with the quality and fit of the foil and cutters. It’s extended the life of my shaver and saved buying a new one.

My razor required some much needed TLC as foils and cutters were well past their sell by date. Spotted this set on Amazon for a good price. I'm really pleased with the prompt delivery as it arrived within 3 days and razor is now back to normal, only downside is that it's a pound cheaper a week later!

The jury is out on this product. The information booklet clearly states that when recharging the shaver, the two green lights are displayed, but this doesn't happen. Perhaps the shaver is full charged? Why not say so? In addition, the power lead which plugs into the charging stand is infernally loose and keeps unplugging itself, so some judicious use of a shred of masking tape has tightened the connection. However, as no green lights are being displayed when the unit is being charged, I have no means of knowing whether or not the electric supply is reaching the shaver. In short, the green charging lights do not shine permanently when the shaver is being charged. The lower green light only blinks when the shaver is in use. Otherwise, the shaver is a robust and well (outwardly) designed product which is a pleasure to use, always assuming that I will be able to keep it fully charged.
