This Amazon Echo Dot is an impressive piece of kit. Essentially a smart speaker but does so much more, just saying the 'wake' word Alexa and you can ask it to do almost anything. It is an absolute doddle to set up, from unpacking and turning on, I was all set up in two minutes. By default the device shows you the time, date and current weather in your area. But either by saying Alexa or using the Alexa mobile app you can set up the device to do other things, such as set alarms, create medication reminders or switch to Bluetooth mode and play music. The beauty of the device is its simplicity, it really is so easy to use. The sound quality on music playback is terrific, and Alexas voice when speaking to you is crisp and clear. Overall this is a great multifunctional device. Five stars.

Got this on a Black Friday sale. Excellent quality with great sound and bedside alarm. The small screen give just enough information of time, date , outside weather conditions and temperature. Screen dims during nighttime so Ideal beside the bed. Size is compact so doesn’t take up a lot of space on bedside table. Overall a great purchase

Great Smart Clock, easy to set alarms and play music with voice control, great way to modernise your bedroom. 4 Stars because it has crashed once or twice when I first bought it however easy fix just turn it on and off and seems to be running fine now, music volume is ok and good enough for an alarm clock, will fill the room BUT lacks in quality on the higher end of the volume, however it is a small clock you can always link it with other Alexa devices.

Echo spot is really good so far. It's got great features and has alot of options. You can ask for weather conditions, there is also time display and the weather will display on the device if you ask. Also there is other options like music can be played if you own Spotify or amazon music and I think you can play music from your device aswell, there is also quite a few other functions which I've not yet delved into but so far I've set alarms and some reminders which is cool. Really impressed with the responsiveness and ease of use aswell. I also don't have any subscriptions to amazon prime and I can still use this device with ease. Very impressed.

So far so good, I’m a fan of the Alexa devices anyway but the added screen is a great touch. You can use specific songs as your alarm wake up, or have the radio come on etc. Very nostalgic. I love that you can adjust the bass etc, as well as the volume. The quality and the sound is impressive for an Alexa device, I wouldn’t need anymore for a bedroom. The screen brightness can be dimmed or completely switched off but the alarm still works. Easy to setup and use, my son loves it too and has asked for one. The best thing about Alexa devices is having the kettle boiled, the floor hoovered, the lights and music on and breakfast warming - all before you get out of bed, lets me focus on getting the kids ready for school. Having it as a visual alarm clock is just a bonus as well as reducing screen time on my phone. I bought it when it was on offer and at that price it was great but I don’t think I’d pay full price for it.

I bought this for my daughter as she was using her mobile phone as an alarm to get up for school and buying this meant that she could leave her phone in the kitchen overnight, reducing the temptation of more screen time, but still having all the features of music, radio and I'm sure many more. It has been fantastic so far. My daughter can set different times for her alarm for different days of the week. She has selected the alarm sound that she likes (out of a long list of options)it wakes her up with Alexa telling her the time, temperature and weather forecast for the day. It is also great for playing Spotify or just the radio. The screen dims at night and the whole thing looks stylish yet understated. My son has an older version which isn't a clock and this new version is so much better. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I bought this Amazon Echo Spot for my uncle's birthday to replace his old Alexa. He is very happy with it and says it is a brilliant upgrade and also a great device with multiple functions as well as colour options. It still has all of his favourite functions but the new clear display makes a big difference. It is very handy because anyone can see the time and the weather on display. He can also connect his smart devices to it, which lets him use his voice to turn his lights or other things on and off without having to move from his place. The sound is also very clear and much better than his old one. I definitely recommend this as a gift or even for yourself to make your home modern and smart :)

She's really good. I loved the design with the screen because it's nice to see the weather and time or the music that's playing. I like Alexa's features, but after the GPT chat, it became a bit outdated hahaha. It's time for Amazon to merge it with AI to bring more search options. But anyway, I love the convenience of being able to ask my favorite music or podcast to play with enviable sound quality. The power of this speaker is incredible with a very pleasant sound. In terms of sound, it beats JBL hands down 😅

I do like this but unfortunately I sleep in a black room and noticeable light comes from it even at its lowest setting. So I can't use it. I was thinking maybe I could put black tint on it.
