fried a bit of onion in the Instant Pot and made the rice in there. We are not big rice eaters, but had to go GFCF, soy free, corn free. OVERWHELMING!! However, it was such a pleasant surprise to find out how tasty this rice is! Husband and son loved it. Will be buying a much bigger bag next time.

This rice is just plain yummy. The flavor is really nice. Be aware that it does take about 45 minutes to cook, but well worth the wait. The only other Jasmine rice I have had is the white (polished) rice. The white version sort of has a starchy flavor, but this rice does not have that.

This is a great product, very healthy and recommended if you are trying to cut white rice from your diet. It's very difficult to find in the groceries, even if it not Lundbergh's. I cook it with roasted butternut squash and everyone likes it.

I really enjoyed making and eating chicken and rice with this red rice. I am ordering for a second time. Would like larger bags maybe 5 pounds? It has a great chew and texture but still soft and great mouth feel. I don’t have a rice cooker but it works great with sauce pan on the stove top. I will refrigerate for 24 hours then reheat before I eat it. This lowers the blood sugar reaction and benefits gut health.

We've been cooking imported organic white jasmine rice for years in our Zojirushi rice cooker [https://a.co/d/0dx0pl6] for years and loving it. However, we've been doing a lot more research on the presence and quantity of lead and arsenic in imported rices, even organic ones, and we've decided to be a little more cautious and get back to ordering California-grown, organic rice. In the past, the California jasmine rice we tried did not seem as fragrant, or quite as flavorful as the Asian varieties. But because we needed something right away, and Amazon was able to get this small package of Red Jasmine to us immediately, we decided to give it a try. We cooked it on the same jasmine setting we always used, same proportions of rice and water as called for by Zojirushi. It came out perfectly. Paired with my wife's Thai coconut shrimp & garden-fresh veggie medley, it was simply outstanding. Wonderful aroma, and very delightful nutty flavor profile. Highly recommended.

Love this rice! I prefer this over brown rice. Its healthy and tastes great. Works well in salads. Takes about 50 min to cook and 5 rest with the lid on. Rice cooker prob quicker. Mayb 30 min. - ish.
