FITS A TREAT

When it arrived the delivery man had problems controlling it in the wind, due to its flimsiness and a lack of any substantial packaging (a thin bit of cardboard). After undoing the packaging, I found small crack in the bottom corner, but as I was going to cut the panel, not a problem. Initially I tried to cut the panel with a Stanley knife with a new blade, which proved very difficult. I reverted to using a hacksaw, but halfway through cutting the length to size, the panel cracked in an upwards direction for 4 inches. Obviously that was that and the panel has been taken to the recycling centre and I have ordered a new wooden panel. I imagine that if you don't have to cut the panel, it will probable look good when fitted, but I needed to cut an inch off the whole length and whether it was down to my skills, or the flimsiness of the panel, is debatable, however, bottom line, it cracked.
