3x Sharpsguard Sharps Bin 2.5 litre - Yellow (Multi Pack)

These are exactly like the ones you can find in the NHS. Perfect value for money for what they normally are elsewhere. We bought this for home use and it is perfect for our needs. Totally recommended.

I had previously bought another sharps box set for a holiday period, but they were too small. With a recent diagnosis it is hard to know what size box you need to buy. It would be useful if the description would suggest how many sharps a box might contain. This set is an ample size, so I would anticipate that we can use the others for future holidays/other uses. To give an idea of size - disposing of fine needle tips for an insulin pen (approx 35 needle tips) over a week.... it's only about an 1/8 full. So a good size. It is also made of sturdy plastic The opening at the top, until it is full and locked, might allow sharps to be removed. So sensible use does apply - eg. it must be kept out of reach of children. But that would be the case with any sharps box.

Sturdy and good quality but pharmacies are not allowed to take this size 'bin'!! I wish I'd known before I bought 3. They will however take 1litre 'bins'
