I want to claim my warranty please let me know how as the product is malfunctioning

The product is fine on its own and has good quality. The software component, however, is the main source of worry. I have spent four hours on the internet and in forums trying to get this to work with Apple HomeKit, but it doesn't. Instead, you must install the Aqara app, get all the features, and then hope that it works at all. I purchased this to replace my Nuki smart lock, but in the end, I installed Nuki again.

Easy to install, but that’s where the positives end. HomeKit setup took hours of trial and error. A few months in, it stopped working due to firmware bugs. Aqara sent a beta fix — temporary relief. Now, 9 months later, it’s completely dead. Aqara’s response? “Contact the seller.” No real support, no ownership. For a smart lock, reliability and manufacturer support are non-negotiable. Sadly, the U200 fails at both.

This smart lock has a range of compatibility options for various UK door locks. Installation was very easy and initial pairing to Aquara home app was easy enough - just ensure that you update firmware straight away. For Apple Ecosystem; if you wish to unlock with your watch/phone you need to ensure you have a HomeKit enabled hub that has thread border chip - the apple HomePod mini and later Apple TV with ethernet are required or upgrade your doorbell to the G410 camera which has the thread border hardware and you will find installation pretty straightforward so long as your WiFI signal strength and hub proximity are within range (true as of Sept 2025 at least). The keypad is well made and the finger print sensor is very responsive; giving additional access options as required. So far performance has been flawless once the calibration has been done - (it may take a few goes to make it consistent without error messages) Over all would recommend.

Very impressed with the product. Is my 6th different smart lock, installation was a breeze. Love that the keypad can be separate from the exterior door - makes for a very clean, standard look. Apple home and Aqara user already so found set up very easy. All the Apple HomeKey features work perfectly. The only thing family doesn’t like is the manual turn to unlock inside is very stiff. Have not quite worked out why but everything else is working perfectly and very stable in HomeKit so I’m not bothered by it.

Unterwegs sind nur Einmal-Codes für das Keypad möglich – ein Nachteil für Vermieter. --- Montage & Nutzung Die Installation ist einfach: Das Schloss wird an der Türinnenseite auf den vorhandenen Schließzylinder gesetzt und entweder verschraubt oder geklebt. Diverse Adapter für unterschiedliche Knäufe sind im Lieferumfang enthalten. Das Keypad lässt sich ebenfalls verschrauben oder ankleben – für optimalen Halt empfehle ich beides. In der Praxis überzeugt das U200 durch: Schnelle Entriegelung (bei meinem Test ca. 3,8 Sekunden) Anpassbare Drehgeschwindigkeit – für leiseren Betrieb in der Nacht Zuverlässige Alexa-Integration – per Sprachbefehl verriegelbar, zum Öffnen ist ein Sicherheitscode erforderlich Besonders praktisch: Mit einem Aqara Mini-Funkschalter kann die Tür bequem per Knopfdruck von der Couch aus geöffnet werden – perfekt für den Alltag. Mein Fazit Das Aqara U200 kombiniert starke Performance, smarte Features und moderne Standards wie Matter & Thread. Der Fingerabdrucksensor ist herausragend, die Entriegelung blitzschnell. Ein paar Einschränkungen wie die zwingende M3-Hub-Nutzung und die automatische Türöffnung sollte man bedenken. Wer jedoch ein leistungsstarkes, zukunftssicheres Smart Lock sucht, trifft mit dem U200 eine exzellente Wahl. Klare Empfehlung – mit kleinen Abstrichen!

Compré esta cerradura hace unos meses y estoy realmente satisfecho con la compra. Características Principales que destacaría: Soporte Nativo de Matter sobre Thread: La integración con Matter y la compatibilidad (en mi caso) con Apple Home, Alexa, SmartThings y Home Assistant es excelente. Métodos de Desbloqueo Múltiples: Ofrece varios métodos de desbloqueo como Apple Home Keys (lo mejor!!), huella digital, contraseña, NFC, y control a través de la aplicación/Gome Assistant. Además, admite contraseñas temporales y llaves mecánicas para emergencias. Fácil Instalación y Amplia Compatibilidad: La instalación es sencilla, sin necesidad de taladrar ni atornillar. Batería Recargable: De momento va bien, hay que ver dentro de unos meses. Desbloqueo Silencioso y Bloqueo Automático: Incluye un modo de desbloqueo silencioso y puede bloquear automáticamente la puerta después de cerrarla, gracias al giroscopio integrado. La verdad que no lo uso mucho ya que es mas lento de esta forma, pero es verdad que es mas silencioso. Lo del bloqueo con giroscopio funciona, pero ya que tenia un sensor de apertura de puerta, cierro la cerraduro a traves de automatismo con el sensor de puerta.. me parece mas seguro la verdad. Conclusión: Esta cerradura es una solución perfecta para mejorar la seguridad del hogar con múltiples opciones de desbloqueo y fácil instalación. La integración con asistente de voz es un plus, y sobretodo con Home Assistant en mi caso. Uso mucho la apertura con Apple Key con mi iPhone & Apple Watch. Muy recomendable!
