Assembly was pretty simple. I was worried that the drawer to discard the waste would be unstable but it’s been perfect and slides perfectly. The overall design of the cage is great. The frame of it is metal with top and bottom being glass. With those parts being plastic, it is very well made and does not look cheap at all. The cage itself is perfect for my parakeets. Plenty of room to fly and have extras like perches, toys, and ladders. Only issue I came across was the plastic food and water containers which was an easy solution. My birds had trouble with both of them being on the perch and one would try to go on the top of the top part of the container and slid off easily from the type of plastic it’s make of. I bought a platform that fit under both the food and water containers and now they can both feed from it! Overall a great purchase though!

This cage is beautiful! It is also plenty spacious enough for up to a couple of parakeets; even a couple of cockatiels if they get out often. I have my one parakeet in it and it is plenty big enough for her and her toys. Putting it together is really straightforward. The directions are clear and it even comes with a real screw driver. The doors seem slightly off from each other but that could be user error on my part. The feed cups are high quality plastic. The grill can slide out after you slide the tray out. That slide out tray is a real winner and will greatly contribute to ease of cleaning. It’s also deep to accommodate different substrates. There are several extra doors to accommodate accessories. The cage itself seems strong and sturdy. Another great feature is how this cage easily converts into a play top cage. The value at the price point I got it for is great.

Decent size, could be a little larger. It would be nice if there was a seed guard on the sides because the seeds get everywhere. The glass doors are good quality. It's a beautiful cage. One huge benefit to this design is that the doors open wide open. The birds are far less scared when you reach your hand in. The birds can also easily see you amd become comfortable with you. The birds can comprehend the glass. They don't run into it.

It was a bit difficult to install. There were two screws that were difficult to work with a screwdriver, so we used an electric screwdriver to complete it. But it’s truly a sturdy and pretty cage for our budgies!

Looks elegant and clean. Great design and use of space. A wider cage like this makes more sense than a taller cage (which are also more unwieldy looking). With a taller cage all the birds want to be at the top & only use about 40%-60% of the cage. This cage allows birds more width space to all be at the top + doesn't waste space building the cage upwards. Fits 6 birds easily. One complaint is that they should provide a 3rd wooden perch bar so that you can just open it up and put the perch bar in rather than having to take it out of the cage when opening and then putting it back in when closing. I wonder if there is a way to buy a third perch. If I get the time I will contact the company, if they provide a third perch, I will improve the review.

I absolutely love this cage, I love that I can see directly to my bird. It is such a beautiful design, and I will say was a little work to put together but following the instructions made it quick and easy! I love that you can put your pet’s name as a decal on the glass too. Perfect cage for a small bird. Bottom and top of cage are plastic.
