Bastien Piano Basics Set (Piano, Theory Performance, Technic, Primer, 4 Book Set)

Very helpful books with nice music. Excellent for the beginning student.

Does a great job of introducing music theory concepts in a gradual and understandable way. I recently got back into playing the piano after being on and off with it for the past 20 years and I've been learning things I never knew.... and this is only level 2.Just by going through these 4 books, I've noticed a quick progression in my capability to not only play, but to learn. By the end of the books, I was actually learning pieces faster than I was in the beginning, and I was even able to sight-read some of the easier stuff. I'm not the intended audience for these books but my piano teacher recommended it. He told me there is a version for adults but the only difference is that they took out the childish visuals. This has done wonders and I'm excited to see where I'll be after book 3.

My kids started piano lessons and I have been amazed at how easy the books are to understand for them.

I love it when any order is all things good and this one was. I ordered, recieved, in excellent shape and was using right on time and you can't ask for more than that. The price is very good as well (concidering the by the book price would be more.)This item was for my grandaughter who is 8 and reccomended by her piano teacher and they work very well. These books are great for beginners. I bought this for my daughter and she really likes them and feels that they help her very much. I think the price was very good for the whole set.
