I have bought it for my kids online classes and assignments. For the price teh specs are good and build quality is decent. Backlit keyboard is an added bonus which is not there in this price range. Screen display is good and sound is ok. Another plus is the lightweight and compact size. Battery life is not so good but manageable as its being used only at home. All the office apps like word excel and pdf editors working fine without any lag. Video and audio files also playing without any issues. NVME ssd can be upgraded if required . There is only 1 slot for m.2 card so cannot install extra ssd.

This is a perfect laptop for under 30K. The display is good (anti-glare and FHD), but the color saturation is not great( which should not matter unless you are designing graphics). The build quality is pretty impressive (I wasn't expecting such good build quality in this price range). The keyboard is backlit. The battery backup could have been better, but considering this laptop stands out in all other aspects and is priced less than 30K, I can live with that. Honestly, I wasn't much interested in MSI laptops as I am not a gamer, but after using this laptop, MSI will probably be my first choice over Dell, Lenovo and HP (I have used laptops of all these brands).

Even 1080p wallpapers don't look sharp, which is why I set a 4K resolution wallpaper to compensate for the lack of clarity. For reference, I’ve seen some refurbished models (like Lenovo Thinkpad or Dell Latitude in the 20k range) with better vibrant and crisp displays. Given its size, though, it's acceptable for most tasks. Conclusion: Despite these minor drawbacks, the MSI Modern 14" is a solid laptop for general use. The performance is good for the price range, but I would have liked better battery life and a sharper display. If these factors are important to you, you might want to consider other options. Only good is i7 processor, battery backup is just 1 hour , sound quality is very poor no type is charging in 2025, very average product , given exchange option but reject due to scratches who will maintain laptop as brand new condition to exchange it for 4000 rupees cheep tactics.

Everything working fine it's been a week I am using this laptop meets expectations, only sound is low as its don't have stereo speakers system but supports 4K resolution. Touch, keypad and other accessories are very much satisfying if you wanted a good laptop with decent price ho for it 👍👍👍
