So I made the switch to organic tampons and my cycle is also much heavier than it used to be. I’d leak through with tampax supers, but not with these. I like that the applicator is smaller to fit into my bags and be discrete and they hold a lot more volume. I do not leak through with these.

Kotex discontinued their best-selling product, regardless of the thousands of women (based on the pleadings on their website to change their minds) who say it is the only tampon that worked for them. I tried every other name brand on the shelf. Even though they all made the "best of" lists by various bloggers and professional reviewers, nothing worked. I turned to online products on the bloggers' lists. None of them worked. What was I going to do? I had no choice but to continue trying products until I found just one tampon that worked. That was when i found Lola. I was skeptical. It is shaped just like all the others, and it's short like all the others and doesn't expand. And, it has that dreaded compact size applicator, which never inserts as easily as Kotex's tampons with full-length applicators did. The difference between Lola and the others, though, is that it WORKS! I have used them for a couple of cycles now, and they seem to work just as well as my favorite Kotex products. They absorb well, and they fit well. They even insert easily. The added bonus is that Lola's wrapper is a lot sturdier than Kotex's was, which means I can carry it in my purse and not worry about the package ripping open, which reduces the amount of tampons I have to throw away unused. I haven't quite committed to a subscription service, but it might be the first product I ever subscribe to, just because I like it so much.

I’ve dealt with horrific painful and heavy periods since I was 12 years old. Been on and off birth control for it. Now I’m trying the completely natural route. No birth control and no toxic period products. I was using the target LL brand of tampons but then I found out they have a toxic chemical in them. So I found Lola and gave it a try. There are pros and cons. Cons: the absorbency isn’t that great. I was changing every hour/an a half on the heaviest day. But I think being 100% cotton only has something to do with that. They’re also a little bit more pricy. Pros: I noticed a significant different with pain!! I’m talking my period cramps were cut at least in half! I also love the packaging. Very discrete. Over all I think because they are 100% organic cotton AND it reduced my pain, I will keep using them! I think it’s totally worth the extra $ and changing more often. I recommend!

I bought these because they are organic, free of perfume and dyes. I was surprised by the volume of fluid they hold and comfort. I never have a huge gush and leak with these as I have others. Now that I tried Lola, I won’t go back to any other brand and my daughters use them too and feel they stand out in performance compared to mainstream brands. For some strange reason, I am not cramping as bad either with these.

Looking for a more holistic approach when it comes to feminine products. These do not have horrible products like bleach but they do not hold very well. I have to change them more often which isn't very environmental friendly.
