The dash cam works perfectly, and that’s what matters most. It’s also worth mentioning the excellent overall quality. The main packaging, inner boxes, and even the plastic zip bags are all first-class. The camera itself feels even better than expected, you can notice the quality just by touch. From the lens cover to the screen protector, everything is well-fitted and carefully designed. The manual is very clear and includes helpful pictures alongside the instructions, which makes everything easy to follow. I’ve owned a few dash cams before, and none of them came close to this level of quality. Little further, the only point is valid to mention as well is the App, which helps to setup the camera after installation but does not reflect the same quality video comparing to removing the SD-CARD and placing directly into a PC. But, for my particular case, this is irrelevant because the purpose of the dash cam is to have a clear video image when/if necessary.

Product was initially exactly what we were looking for. The functionality, quality of the camera, mounting hardware, and associated APP were straight forward and relatively easy to install and get working properly. The associated APP made it relatively easy to control the cameras and download pictures/video when needed. We ended up buying a total of three of these to install in our vehicles based on our initial evaluation of the product. Unfortunately there have been updates to the APP that apparently prevent us from connecting to or downloading video from the cameras as we did initially. Efforts to try and log back into our Rove online account and reconnect the cameras has proved fruitless and thus far we’ve heard nothing back from Rove’s customer service folks. After some internet searches it appears that we are not alone with regard to loosing access via the IPhone APP. There are other dash camera options available and I would certainly look at those other options very carefully. It’s very frustrating to be dependent on a company that apparently uses cut-rate software/firmware development teams to support the functionality of their product; my fear is that it is going to be a recurring problem. Update: I was eventually able to get all three cameras back on-line and working with the phone APP which is key to making good/easy use of these cameras. This involved finding the camera serial numbers which is stored inside the cameras, researching the Amazon order information to find the original order dates and order numbers and reregistering the cameras using the ROVE APP. It worked to get me back on line but was certainly frustrating to have to do this because of an update that they pushed. This said the functionality and quality of the camera itself appears to be good.

Good product, recommended for everyone, all functions are good, mobile application working perfectly, memory card also added with package, no additional items to buy.
