Great video quality, easy to install, App is very useful, screen is decent size without being an eye sore. Comes with everything you need to set up camera. Highly recommend buying the hardwire kit so you can hide the wiring and use the park guard feature. The suction cup attachment is very strong. Camera feels high quality.

The dash cam works perfectly, and that’s what matters most. It’s also worth mentioning the excellent overall quality. The main packaging, inner boxes, and even the plastic zip bags are all first-class. The camera itself feels even better than expected, you can notice the quality just by touch. From the lens cover to the screen protector, everything is well-fitted and carefully designed. The manual is very clear and includes helpful pictures alongside the instructions, which makes everything easy to follow. I’ve owned a few dash cams before, and none of them came close to this level of quality. Little further, the only point is valid to mention as well is the App, which helps to setup the camera after installation but does not reflect the same quality video comparing to removing the SD-CARD and placing directly into a PC. But, for my particular case, this is irrelevant because the purpose of the dash cam is to have a clear video image when/if necessary.

Camera itself and all the hardware it come with are great. Easy to setup and user friendly. Great video quality day and night. Only complaint I have is the app. I have an Android phone and when I download a selected video clip to watch later, it just keeps coming up with an error message that the app isn't responding. You can click wait instead of close and it will play for a few seconds more and come up the the error message again. Just with the app was better

We liked the first one so much bought another for my son. Super simple setup and access to the recordings. Cable for the rear camera was long enough for my wife’s SUV. Bright screen is easy to see and big enough to work on. Love that the GPS works and is recorded.

I just purchased the Rove R2-4K Dual Dash Cam this week and have not had time to evaluate the Dual yet. However, I purchased the R2-4k little over two years ago and have been very satisfied with it and it’s the reason I purchased another Rove Dash Cam for myself. Installation of both has been quite easy although installing the rear camera in a 2023 Silverado can be somewhat of a challenge getting the wiring under the trim of the vehicle. I did have some issues with connecting the Dash Cam to the Rove App. I’m still old school so I still have an IPhone SE 3rd Generation which has quite of a small screen, so when prompted in the App to Tap the Green Button which is (Yes Go Next), I couldn’t because only a tiny bit of green was showing and If you tried pinching to make it smaller or moving the screen up, then the button would not work but tapping just the tiny bit of the green button and it did work. I was a little concerned when I tried calling Tech Support and finding out that you had to either email the help desk or text your issues to them. So, I text them and in less than 1 minute Jennifer responded the help with my issues. I was very impressed with her quick response and eagerness to solve my problem. Both cameras are up and running and I may purchase a third. The video quality and sound are very clear, and the wide-angle view captures everything you would need in the event of an accident. I’ve been so pleased with the Rove Dash Cam that when I retired, I purchased three for my staff members when I left. So, to date I’ve purchased a total of five Rove Dash Cams. (Good Quality Dash Cam), (Good Customer Service) and when I purchased the Rove Dual on Amazon it was at my door in less than 3 hours. I would definitely buy again and recommend the Rove Dash Cam R2 4K and Dual to a friend. Sometime that little bit of security is key.
