Didn’t really work for my application
Maybe just wrong use of product. I cut MDF on my CNC and edges are always very rough. I thought if I sanded the edges and then sealed they would stay smooth. But it seams even after multiple coats of sealer the edges still come back rough

It works but, be patient
Works as expected. Would buy again. Took 4 coats on my MDF board. Drys to touch in an hour. If sanding, wait till next day between coats.

I gave this sealer a try
I bought this sealer to treat the edges of a cabinet that I purchased from Amazon. I didn't know upon purchase until I received it that the cabinet was made of MDF. The problem with MDF is that if it gets any kind of moisture the glues/binders they use to compress the material together will come apart. You have to make sure it is sealed up against moisture very well or you are just asking for failure. That is why I thought to try this product I came across on Amazon. The sealer seemed to be fine and applied well. Time will tell how long it holds up. Anyhow, I only gave it three stars because it looked as though this can had been on the shelf for quite a while. It was starting to rust on the outside and the lid was partially popped open. The good part was the sealer inside looked to be fine, it did not leak, and it was not dried out at all.

If it sealed my MDF, it sealed in moisture
I bought this to seal my MDF workbench top. My MDF was laminated, stabilized and flat after glue up. I sealed all my fresh edges while flat. After this product dried, the top had began to cup in the middle. This panel glue up was only 20" wide and 60" in length. A size that should be able to keep flat if the moisture content is stable? But, nope. Seems like a waste. Now, I'll build a 4" thick top for serious woodworking

Impressive finish, but best result is giving cupboard doors two coats after removal of vinyl wrap. Easy to clean brushes with just water. Great value and goes a long way.

Richtet maximal die Fasern auf, versiegelt nicht. Das kann jede andere Grundierung besser, oder gleich ein dickerer Lack, ohne Vorbehandlung, und dafür eine dünne Schicht mehr.
