Installed with minimal issues. Can’t use original rear brake lever so have to mod something there. Had to use original carb boot so carb would have clearance. Used original airbox for the battery box. Engine fired right up. Overall reliability is an unknown but so far no complaints for a low cost engine.

Runs and shifts well. The transmission is a little different than what I'm used to. It's all down 12345N then repeats. I'm giving it 4 stars because because the oil cap was broken during shipping.

These are engines but the transmission is a gp shift that means it used in race bike all shifts are down N12345 then back to N and repeat continuously shift transmission pretty cool very uncommon in the US they dont tell you this that's why I give these 3 stars need to disclose this in product information

This thing sucked!!! NOT A 250CC BUT ACTUALLY A 223CC ,w 5 speed shift that rotates thru the gears,12345,if you click up down however you set it,it goes into neutral, making you think you missed your shift,so shifting again outs you into first...... luckily i realized this,teaded it,and the giy i traded it to did just that and amoked the clutch outta this thing.

they shipped the motor upside down and now there is oil everywhere and the clutch doesn’t want to move at all. it got shipped with a defective clutch. a few parts were rusted and the clutch gear was rubbing the top of the case

Engine looks good have not started it yet due to not having the proper cdi. It did come with a broken oil cap that was difficult to remove so the engine and everything in the box was coated in oil. The engine was also poorly wrapped in pig pads and broken styrofoam. Definitely expected for the price but just a heads up.

Okay to start off we received a curtain rod instead of a motor. Finally got in touch with the right people got the motor we've had to buy a starter clutch a starter adjust the valves and still haven't gotten it to run yet it'll start for 30 seconds and dies wearing starters out left and right do not recommend it. If we ever get it adjusted and running I'll write another review telling you how it runs out but as of right now it does not run and has not ran and we've had it for over a month.
