No more scratches!
Easy to apply. Great bargain. Only issue was glue didn’t work, so I had to go buy a tube of it at store. Effectiveness is great as cat can’t claw furniture, or me! They last at least 2 weeks. They are soft and fit well.

Kitten Nail Covers
I am SO HAPPY to have found this! Who knew this existed or an option to getting scratched when playing with your kitten? This affordable product is not just cute, but will help keep my curtains and sofa lasting a bit longer! Very easy and quick to put on. I did it while my kitten was kneading and somber. No cutting necessary other than the glue... and that I cut at an angle to help distribute the glue more easily and in a small amount. Just push the open tube of glue down to the tip. A little tiny squeeze of glue... about a dot, then pinch the rubber tip to guide the glue up to the top and allow it to cover inside... then slip it over the nail. Be sure not to have glue spill over, otherwise, the glue will get onto the fur and that's a no-no. If it happens, quickly squeeze the excess glue and wipe off then apply right away to the nail. The glue is pretty much crazy glue and dries fast. Purchased xs. As instructed, no need to trim back the nails, just be sure fur is out of the way and you extend the nail to hold in place. Each tip was exactly the right size and none were defective. My kitten didn't fuss during and walked about without noticing. The tiny package came exactly as pictured. I actually counted exactly the right amount of tips. Only cons: Not having 20 of the same color... just 10 of each color. Would be nice if I wanted to do the back paws as well or supplement if any fall off. The other is offering the same amount in the one color. It's only been a few days but would certainly buy again when needed.

Did the Job, Great Adhesion, Very Cute!
These caps did just what they were supposed to! Our 7 month old, 8.75lbs kitten has a bad habit of using her hind claws to launch off of us, and has caused some serious damage to our skin. These caps have helped that issue a lot. They were quite easy to use, she put up a bit of a struggle but that’s not the product’s fault, and in the end we got them all on in under ten minutes! Despite her attempts to pull them off over the next few hours, they seem to have great adhesion and all but one stayed on! We were very impressed with that. Now, more than a day has passed since we put them on and she seems to be adjusting pretty well, but she’s still not perfectly comfortable and that may be because the sizing was off. A few tips: definitely do this with a partner, even with a relatively compliant cat it was much easier with help. Check to see if the caps fit WITHOUT the glue first!! Your cat will not thank you for gluing on a cap that fits really poorly! The caps have a very strong plastic/chemical smell. I washed them with a little dish soap and warm water and then let them dry fully before applying them. I think if they had that strong smell, it would increase the chances of it bothering the cat and make them mess with the caps more. Finally, have your cat’s favorite food to give them immediately after doing the caps. This way they will be distracted by the food, you will make it a more positive experience, and your cat will more likely stay still long enough for the glue to set. We also only did ten nails one day, and ten the next, so as not to be restraining her too long. My only issues with this product, were that the sizing wasn’t what was advertised. They are a bit too big for her, despite getting the ones for her weight range. We managed to make it work, but it was a bit disappointing. But the customer service was great about it and took care of the issue immediately. Also, I liked the little applicator tip they give you for the glue, but it doesn’t stay on the glue tube very well. It would be better if it clicked on or something so I’m not constantly readjusting it while trying to put these things on the cat!

Good, but have a professional put them on.
I have a pretty tolerant 4 month old kitten. Based on the reviews for ease of use I thought the application process would be a breeze. I pre-trimmed the open end if the claw because they were a little long for my cat’s nails. The application process proved difficult and made me feel so horrible. Two of the caps failed to adhere, and when my cat retracted his claw and ran away his claw got glued in. I got 6 of them on with little trouble, but when I went to retry the two failed claws he cried and struggled a lot. I thought he was just reasonably mad at me but after a few tries at exposing his claw I realized it was stuck and my attempts were causing him pain. Now other than the slight problems with the adhesive and ease of use I have no problem ms with the product itself. Just consider taking your cat to a vet or professional groomer to put them on. He seems fine and I will keep a close eye on him and update this review as needed.

Highly recommend! Much easier to apply than expected.
I have 3 brand new kittens, twin girls and one boy that just turned 3 months. They have been tearing everything up with their nails. They have a condo and scratching posts, but my expensive bedding has been picked to death. I saw these and did my research. They do not prevent them from retracting their nails! They do not hurt them at all! I tried to wait till they were 4 months, but I went ahead and ordered them because so much was getting ruined and they couldn't help it, they were just playing and getting up on the bed for cuddles. I tried them on before applying the glue. My twin girls are smaller than their brother and I only had to trim a couple of the caps back just a tiny bit for them. Otherwise, they fit perfectly. You're not supposed to trim their actual nails if they are under 6 months, so I didn't. I'll admit, I was worried this was going to be difficult. But they were great! My son petted them while I applied the caps, and they purred the whole time. No issues at all. I did accidentally drop one after slipping it on her nail, because my dog got curious and jumped up to see what was going on. The cap fell off and the nail retracted and the glue stuck to her fur. I got scared but just skipped that one, finished the others and then gently pulled the stuck fur from her nail and applied the cap. No issues from that. I saw someone said that it caused major problems with their cat when that happened. I can only suspect they used to much glue. You only need a tiny bit and they stick just fine. I watched for any adverse reaction, but they acted like nothing had happened. They didn't walk funny, they didn't bite at them or try to get them off. Normally, they jump on the bed, grab hold of the covers and then climb with their nails up onto the bed. I think they each tried that once, couldn't grip and fell, and now they know they can't do it that way anymore. They still get on the bed and their condo just fine, just not that way anymore. I am so thankful for these! I love my babies but didn't know how much more I could take of them tearing up stuff. Now we can all focus on the good stuff. They still jump and play and climb. And as you can see in the pictures, they are very content!

humorous and it works!
so far so good! i appreciate the fact that it comes in different sizes and shapes that matches a cat's claws. getting the glue on your fingers makes it a bit difficult to slide the caps on so being careful with the amount of glue you squeeze out is key. had to clip the tip of my cat's claws a bit. once all caps were on (~20 mins) my cat was walking funny the first hour or so, licking licking and trying to bite it off with his teeth. had to play chase the string accompanied with some treats to distract him, which i think helped seal the caps further on his claws. curious about how long the caps will stay on. i love the colors it came and the humor these caps provide, lol.

easy to apply, sticks super well, looks very cute
My cat has a deformed paw so she doesn’t like her paws to be touched. because of this, her nails grow super long and very sharp, because she won’t let us trim them regularly. she gets stuck on things and won’t let us help her because she doesn’t like her paws touched. then she ends up ripping threads out of blankets, etc. I bought these to help stop her from ruining our blankets and furniture and to help her stop getting stuck on everything, and scratching us when we try to help her. they were not easy to put on since she’s so sensitive about us touching her paws, but we swaddled her in a blanket and covered her face so she couldn’t see what we were doing. I’m sure it would be much easier to apply to a cat that is willing to let you touch their paws. after applying, we kept her swaddled for about 5 mins to let the glue dry, and then gave her treats and toys to distract her. she never seemed to mind that they were on her nails and hasn’t tried to bite them off or acted like they were bothering her. it’s been a few days since we put them on and they’re all still strongly glued on. none have fallen off or anything. now she looks cute with her manicure, and she doesn’t have razor sharp claws anymore. we did have to trim her nails a bit before we put the nail caps on because they were so long since we’re never able to trim them. I think next time i’ll get a size up (I bought small this time so maybe i’ll get a medium next time) so that we don’t have to trim her claws first and we can make the process easier for her. they’re pretty easy to apply and would probably be even easier if she didn’t hate us touching her paws so much. you just slip them on and they’re stuck. we only had trouble sticking one on because of the way her paw is formed.

They Really Work
If you put these on your cat the correct way, the nail caps can last a long time. These are currently saving me from my kitten, who is indeed an unhinged psychopath most hours of the day. The only thing I wish is that there were more of those plastic tips for such a large amount of nails, as they do get clogged up easily by nail glue that cannot be removed from a tip that small.

Best thing for cats
I have been using soft paws for a year now and I have no regrets. They don't damage my furniture when my cat tries to scratch, they are humane and can easily be cut down if you don't need them that long. Great product and they give you 5 bottles of glue and application tips. Will buy again.

Great variety and they work!
Love the variety in colour! Only down side is once you open the glue it dries out. Does come with multiple tubs of glue.
