The ASICS Men’s Gel-Contend Running Shoes are an excellent value and very comfortable right out of the box. I have had feet issues and swear by these! The color looks great in person and matches the photos online—clean, modern, and easy to pair with workout or casual clothes. Comfort was important for daily wear. These are the only shoes I wear now. I have one great pair, one good pair and two that are pre-loved and help me mow the lawn. They stay comfortable all day & the news ones do not need a break-in period. Critical for me is excellent cushioning and arch support, especially for heel impact. I need confidence in my shoes. They feel stable and supportive without being too stiff. I re-order the same size every time and they arrive as expected every time.

Great Value - Wide - Comfortable - Durable - Light - Neutral yet supportive
As a runner who averages about 3 miles per day, these are a great value for a comfortable, neutral, and durable runner. It doesn't excel at anything in particular other than value, although personally I like how they run a little wide. I purchased them as backups, but find myself choosing them as my daily jogger more and more often. That said, if you're looking for plush and cushy, this is not your shoe. It offers plenty of cushion while running, but doesn't compromise stability and light feel for a running/walking on clouds feel. Also worth pointing out that I am a male of average height at a healthy weight.

ASICS for life
I am a female with large feet. ASICS have been my go to shoe since graduate school, when I started running and a specialized running store suggested they would be a great shoe for me. They are comfortable, supportive, and good quality. The colors are great.

Great Shoes for Orthotics
Asics work great for my son with over pronation. The sizing is accurate and the durability is great. He wears the same pair all school year as he wears orthotics in them.

Asics has the best shoes! I have wide, "difficult" feet. These are a perfect fit and every single time! I am so thankful, and they look great too! Very stylish and great price! THANK YOU!

steady decline in quality
Have purchase several versions of these shoes over the years, mainly as dedicated walking shoe. Not a daily driver, so to speak. With each generation the materials used seem to have declined in durability. Initially the soles would wear out before the uppers but with last 3 rounds of these shoes the uppers are coming apart or wearing through. They are comfortable, fit perfectly but just don't last. Time to look elsewhere
