Old alternator had bad whine due to failed diode. Local box store wanted 2X the price for replacement part. This was packaged well and was exact fit and easy replacement for my corolla. Removed old one and replaced with this one in about 45 mins. Started up car and tested and was functioning exactly as it should and was charging well and soo soo much quieter than the old one. As long as this holds up over time this is a sure home run and very affordable for a 15 year old car that I just couldn't see dumping a ton of money into it. Quality replacement part at half the price.

This unit saved me a lot of money! If you are able to wait for part of a day for this part it is well worth it. I ordered it around 2 pm and it arrived at 5:30 am the next morning! It was an easy trouble free install, I had the car back together with a new drive belt by 6 am. Power output tested okay and the bearings are quiet. No problems anticipated. It looks and operates like new! Highly recommended!
