The Rocksocki Tabletop Drum Pads Kit is a good choice for you and/or your kids because the pads have a solid feel and good stick bounce. The size of unit is just right, it does not take up much space. The Rocksocki comes with an owners manual, pair of drum sticks and two foot pedals for Kick and Hi-Hat. The sensitivity of the pads and pedals is good and the Menu, Tempo, Click, Record and Demo Song options offer a good set of features needed to practice drumming with. The drum kit sounds are decent with a choice of 15 kits to choose from. You also get 50 Demo songs to practice with but you can not change the tempo of the songs. You can also record your drum playing with the built in record feature but you can not save it and if you press the Record button again the previous song is erased and the new recording replaces it (see video). The Rocksocki Drum Pads come with a USB-C cable for connecting to the power input port on the “Right” side of the front panel, but does not have a 5-Volt power supply to go with it. So you will need to use a 5-Volt USB adapter to power the drum pads. Also be aware that the supplied USB-C cable will not work as a USB-C Data cable to connect to your computer. You will need to use a USB-C data cable to plug into the “Left” side USB-C port on the front of the drum pad unit (I show you in the video). The Rocksocki works as a basic MIDI drum controller as well but it needs a few “Firmware” changes to make it work better. Fix: Pad Volume control to work with all pads correctly (see video). Remove: If memory space is not available - Trigger Threshold - Crosstalk Threshold - Repeat Triggering - Force Curve The defaults for above settings works good. - Drum Sequence Replace with or Add: - Local Control: On and Off (see DAW section of video). - Pad Sound Assignment: Assign sound to any pad including Foot Pedal inputs. - MIDI Note Assignment: Assign a midi note number to any pad including Foot Pedal inputs. - Pan Control: Assign panning control to all pads including Foot Pedal inputs. - Memory to retain at least one or more custom pad setups.

This is a great product. You can use headphones and rock out! The sound and tap is very accurate. It’s fun and easy to use. I recommend it..
