Weight is a problem, not as heavy to maintain velocity, the only pro is that you did not hurt yourself. Not recommended to practice forms, good to presents basics of the manage and handle.

Since I carelessly try things with a wooden sectional staff (it's broken now), I've acquired several bruises over the years. This is amazing for being reckless (in open area) without getting hurt.

This item works very well with my training. I bought one before and it fell apart and the plastic attached to the chain broke but so far this one is lasting a long time and its getting tested daily and is proven to stand up against the worst
