Even if you’re just starting out, it’s inspiring to see the level of care and creativity that went into it. A perfect blend of art book and storytelling companion.

So many goodies inside!! I absolutely love, love, love this book! So many things when you open it up, posters, etc. excellent value for money, I got it half off of its $60 price, I almost feel guilty for not paying the $60. The authors are talented, as are the show creators.

There aren't enough words to describe how fantastic and gorgeous this book is. I'd been eyeing it for a while, and when I saw it was on sale, my heart leapt. I haven't had time to thoroughly go through the text, though I can tell it's very detailed and shows a fascinating look at behind the scenes. The quality of the art within this book cannot be understated, and I absolutely love the two-page and four-page spreads of landscapes from the show. I also missed the extras in the product information, so I was very pleasantly surprised to find loose pages of hextech blueprints, Jinx's wanted poster, Vander's letter to Silco, a paint stencil for Jinx's monkey bomb sigil, and a map of Piltover!!! I wish we could also see a map of just the undercity, but I'm very happy at least seeing where Zaun is in relation to Piltover. My favorite page so far is the disc concept art, including the famous timebomb fairies that look inspired by Stromae and Pomme, the musicians featured in the timebomb episode. Also, the bottom-right corner of the dust jacket was damaged during shipping, though that feels more to do with handling during shipping. It came wrapped in clear plastic and encased within bubble wrap, so perhaps when it was wrapped for shipping, the corner was bent and it simply stayed that way until delivery. Anyways, it's a minor detail and I don't mind it too much personally. THE ART IS SO BEAUTIFUL! And the pink ribbon for a bookmark was very clever and will be helpful as I read.

Love this! No dents at all and as far as I can see, it came with all the additional posters inside. It deserves the price point, but it's even greater on sale! A chonky book for sure

Beautiful show and beautiful art book. The quality of both the actual book and the contents inside is amazing. I love all the small little things that you get such as the extra posters. Definitely worth the purchase if you love the show.

Parfait

Every aspect of the design is gorgeous. The pink acetate jacket jacket has a very striking effect on the cover art. It's a bit larger than your typical art of book. While it may not be to everyone's taste, I absolutely love the infusion of the Jinx hallucinations/graffiti look scattered throughout the entire book, I think it gives the volume a unique look that fits the vibe of Arcane's aesthetics beautifully. The actual art of course is top notch, as the book offers insights into how they adapted the subject matter from the games into a tv environment. While the text is a little too celebratory to Riot Games for my taste, the text by Elisabeth Vincentelli offers some valuable insight into the making of the series. There is also one drawback. While the end of the book credits all of the current employees at Riot Games and Fortiche, particular works are not credited to specific artists. This is a standard for most art of books, so that's a massive oversight. Despite those drawbacks, this is one of my favourite art books in my library, so I feel like the shortcomings aren't enough to detract the five star ratings. Hopefully this book will be back in print soon, I pre-ordered this, but did not receive a copy until February 17th, 2025. Highly recommended to any fan of the show, or people who like art of books in general.
