magically, the item refers to a HEATING PAD, but I am reviewing the White noise machine by VINKEL LLC. Seemed good, except controlling the volume was very tricky, difference between quick press (which changes to different sound) and long press for volume (should have been the reverse for convenience). After a few weeks, the machine went "hinky" (played two sounds at once) and I should have returned it then. It straightened out, so I kept it. But after only 2 months of use, it has totally konked out - kaput. No sounds at all, can't get anything to work on it. Dead. Piece of junk! Waste of money. It says "my return window has closed" and weirdly, does not show up on my returns options. Thankfully, Amazon stands behind its products and has graciously refunded me plus compensated me for all the trouble

Sadly, this didn't work for us... but it did have some really nice nature sounds. (we needed a white noise that was deeper sounding)The Bubble sound was really cool. My husband and and I both started singing Monster Mash when we heard it! The happy baby sounds kinda creeped us out, but I guess if you're using it for a baby... they might like it.I really liked the clock. It wasn't too bright. We often have to cover electronic devices because they light up the room. This clock was great.I only gave it 3 stars because it turned the volume down during the night... when we need it loud to block my snoring... And the white noise was too high pitched. Folks wanting nature sound should enjoy this one.

No idea why the white noise machine I purchased has now turned into a heating pad.. that is out of stock? I have had many problems with the volume randomly changing / turning down. Very unhappy with this product. I wish that I had been able to return it, however I'm outside of the "return window".I dislike the fact that it makes a loud musical noise when it is turned on and off. It is not easy to navigate with the long and short press options for volume or changing of the sound. I have also had many issues with the Bluetooth attempting to connect to my phone over and over again even after I have said to cancel and unpaired.

Compact design, great choices for sounds. Poor instruction manual. I had to do some research to figure out it needs 4 hours to charge and can last 8 or so hours. We charged it for much longer than that the first day and it played closer to 15 hours before it died. I haven't tried all the features yet like Bluetooth. I would definitely recommend this sound machine.

moved to new place in NYC, you know it's pain in the xxx, especially you have a guy up stair is a night shift Uber driver, so this speaker is 100% save my life. I been test this for 2 night, the best sound for me is the forest, Volume at 3. it's blocked all the noise outside, make me have a deep sleeping. it's long battery life, since I did not charge it from brand new. the sound quality of the speaker it's more than what i except, crystal clean and decent amount of bass. many tanks and I will recommend this speaker to my up stair guy. try to be nice new neighbor.

This machine makes it so much easier to manage the volume on the different sounds. I also enjoy being able to put it under my pillow to muffle the sound from my spouse who needs total quiet. He never hears a thing and yet I get to hear what I need to sleep.

I was surprised that this has an internal battery. There are several sounds that can be played very low or extremely high. I really like the clock and timer on it. It sits on my nightstand from now on.
