This water based stain was super easy to apply, I used a brush and then a rag to get the excess off The coverage is great but you do have to be careful to not do a double pass or that area will be darker than the rest The color is darker than what I was expected but still looks great. I finished it with some wood oil and it’s great

I purchased this stain to match my 20-year-old cabinets that have a dark cherry finish. I have been unable to find a match through normal big box stores and paint stores that were close but not exactly at the same finish. Not only is this perfect but can be adjusted to the depth of the color needed, whether it is light or darker finish. Will be ordering more product to finish the rest of my cabinets.

Buy this wood stain. Without any doubt it is the best I’ve ever used. I bought the dark walnut. The liquid goes on smoothly, dries quickly, and the finish is stunning. I would suggest applying the first coat with a brush, then rub it into the wood with a lint free cloth. Don’t wait, it dries quickly. Rub in the direction of the grain. Additional coats: rub only. You might find the nap of the wood rises slightly when the second coat is thoroughly dry. I sanded it, gently, with very fine sand paper to settle the nap to silky smooth. Two more coats. Let it thoroughly dry. Stunning. Remember you don’t get much in the bottle, so I’d keep this for special projects, but worth every cent of the asking price. In a world full of complete junk, how wonderful to write a review of something that is truly a quality product.

I used this to try an patch water damage on a wood cabinet of the same color that was worn away from a poorly placed sink design over time. It seemed like this would be a quick fix. But after 3 applications, the color of the raw wood was only slightly darker and did not match the original stain color. I was surprised ho ineffective it was. Should have just gotten new markers instead.

This is my new favorite stain to use! Thick but not super thick. Goes on really well. Almost no smell and cleans up with water. Thank You!

I’m attempting to refinish the top of a dresser. The original finish is a dark oak which is what I bought. When applied it dried very red. With additional coat the redder it got. I stripped it down and started all over this time using a dark walnut. Once again when it dried the finish came out red. I did some research and discovered if I applied a black walnut stain it would mute the red. So I bought the black walnut stain and applied it over the dark walnut and while it was true that the black walnut evened out the red tones it lifted the stain in two different areas and now those areas will not take the stain. I have to now re-strip the entire top of the chest. Will not be using this manufactures product again. I’m now out hours of my time staining, re-staining & stripping along with $33. Their stains are not true to color and applying 2 coats causes it to gunk up no matter how long you allowed it to dry between coats. Definitely would not recommend.

Beautiful tint and absorbs really well. Good buy! Thankful to have found this wood stain! It wasn't easy to find it online.
