A 34-year vegetarian this month, I began getting this at my local grocery store, but after about a year, they stopped carrying it. So happy Amazon has it for sale! I stir it up just like I did tuna in the old days, with apple, mayo, and sweet relish, and it makes a very tasty sandwich or salad by itself! Just be sure to press the water out of it before mixing up, just like you would with real tuna. Else it is a mush!

I really like this product. I drain off much of the oil, add diced celery and a little vegan mayo, and make sandwiches, delicious! The cans though! One out of twelve opened correctly, the pop top snapped off the rest and the can opener doesn’t fully open it. I pried the lids open and scooped it out with a spoon. Use every precaution to not cut yourself when opening a can.

This company makes my fave chik chunks so I decided to give this a try and I’m not disappointed. I make delicious salads and sandwiches.

I was looking to replace another vegan brand I can’t find anymore. This isn’t it. The consistency is like tuna, but not the taste at all.

Love this product! I don’t eat anything made from animals or their secretions. It’s nice to have a canned plant-based option to make either chikun or toona salad. It’s also great straight out of the can. You can’t love animals and eat them too!🌱

Okay, I was concerned about whether this would taste like tunafish. It’s fabulous I love it. Unfortunately, the packaging is dangerous. First of all it’s tremendously hard to open. Had to open it with a spoon flipping the pop top and wedging the spoon in and prying the top off that way. Unfortunately yesterday I wanted to make a double batch. The first can was difficult to open as usual. The product is packed and oil making the can slippery and also making the spoon slippery if you open it that way. I almost sliced my finger off on the side of the top , of the can. It was partly off. It was so sharp like a razor. I’m going to try to use an electric can opener from the bottom. If this does not work, I’m throwing it all away because I do not want anyone to injure themselves like I did.

This is the best plant-based tuna I've had so far. Actually, it's better than any canned real tuna fish too. I normally make a tuna salad with veggies and mayo and spices, but this is so perfect right out the can. It's moist and flavorful and ready to go on some crackers right away!

The taste and texture is excellent I would give this product 5 stars but for the cans. The cans are terrible and can cause injury if you use the pull tab. After first one, I only use a can opener now and have no further issues. The quality of the product makes it worth the extra trouble though.
