Ideal for Open Fire Use – Excellent Heat Protection
I bought the AOUCHI Leather Welding BBQ Fire Gloves for use with my open fire, and they’ve been spot on. The gloves are thick, well-made, and provide excellent heat protection when adding logs or adjusting the fire. I feel confident handling hot materials without the heat coming through. The extra length is a real bonus, as it protects the wrists and lower forearms when reaching into the fire. Despite being heavy-duty, they’re comfortable to wear and allow a good grip on logs and fire tools. They feel durable and good quality, and after several uses they’re holding up very well. Overall, a great purchase for anyone with an open fire I’d happily recommend them.

Great gloves!
These are great gloves and excellent value for money. I bought these to use when opening my log burner as the handle gets very hot. It only feels slightly warm when wearing the gloves. They haven’t shown any significant wear yet either!

Great gloves, well made and keep hands safe when using log fire, thickness is lighter than others I have had but give good protection, worth the money

Good but light weight
Good but light weight. So I do like these gloves, but they are lighter weight than I was thinking so I have to pay attention while welding or the heat creeps through pretty quick and that is not fun haha I would recommend them though

Smoke and burning…
After going from a set of welding gloves that have lasted for the last 7 years, I decided to buy a set of these to replace them. I went with some that looked nice in order to smarten the room up, and they do look lovely, however what they also do is start smoking on your hand with a few seconds exposure and also burn your skin through the glove. They are being returned and I’m going back to a new cheap pair of red welding gloves that didn’t cook me like a piece of meat in foil. Honestly… don’t bother buying these if you’re actually looking to protect your hand for longer than 3 seconds.
