Yongnuo_ YN-300 LED Light for Cameras and Camcorders

The box which I have received was open and it seems to me that it was an returned item to amazon seller. I cannot verify the product as it does not come with any supported battery. I bought this with understanding that it would either work with AA battery or external power but none of them seems to be an option. I had to buy an external battery [Sony F750] which costed me around another 2.5k and it will take another 10-days time to reach me. My question to seller is why the box was opened and how one can guarantee that it will work once the battery is installed.

I bought 2 of these lights 5 years back. I had to buy 4 NP-F970 separately with chargers. But they are still working fine. Worth every penny.

Great quality product and the light from this is awesome.

Works great for short distance portrait kind of lighting. Bit harsh like any other LED lights I suppose. Fine with some diffusion.

Fit for outdoors too. Can be used from within a few meters distance.

Received incomplete package as the connector of light to its stand was missing

These led lights are awesome, very affordable and the quality is not bad. I recommend buying the big generic sony batteries so you can have about over 2 hours of lighting power depending on the dimming setting you have. The best part is the remote control.

The battery, because it's not made by the company does not fit very well. The light itself though looks fantastic and feels very well crafted.

Great product, small price

Not so potent for the price. I also have a 160 LED light which is almost as bright as this one and at a third of the cost; about $20.

Great light! Bought this for photographing receptions instead of using flash. Off camera of course! My helper hand held this and I fired my alien bee at the ceiling with Radio poppers. Had no more issues with focus!. White Balance looks good. The clear gel does nothing for softening the light. I simply cut out a piece of paper and got great results. Buy it!!!
