I am so delighted with this game. I have a lonely life and I play alone, with both my hands competing against each other. Takes me back to my childhood years. This game delights me and I find myself laughing out loud when I am swallowed by a snake, and screaming at the top of my head when I climb up the ladder. And when I win the game, I stand up to dance. I am 70 years old. When my son returns from work in the evening, he tells me how relaxed and happy I look. I showed him the Board Game, which I had been hiding, though he laughed out loud, in good faith, he said he was happy I had company. For the creators of this Board Game, I say, Congratulations? One is never ever too old to play kid games or even watch Tom & Jerry, as I do.

Love this game. It looks a bit old fashioned but that is what I love about it. It is good quality and durable so it's not going to break any time soon. My 13 year old son and my partner and I have enjoyed doing something different during lockdown and it's brought great laughs around the table. Today's more modern games aren't as nice as this one.

I love the classic game, and this is an ideal, fold-in-half version. The effect is lovely and looks slightly old-fashioned and vintage. Would recommend to anyone who loves snakes & ladders, so much fun!

I like the old-fashioned look of this game so bought it for me and my little daughter to play. We've had loads of laughs with it and it seems to be holding up. Even comes with a dice shaker. A good quality, reasonably priced classic game - can't ask for more.

Board games are a big thing in our family. We very much enjoy these elaborate multi-piece modern tactical games but tend to alternate these lengthy sessions with more ordinary tractional games that are no less fun. Age-old snakes and ladders remains a hilarious, exciting game based on luck mostly. This board is well-balanced, a player can make a run for the goal but is increasingly likely to be put many places back with a single unlucky throw. This makes it very exciting to play with children of different ages - it’s not their skill or tactics that will determine their fortunes. We bought this version as our children are growing a little bit older and we don’t wan to be stuck with another brightly coloured set with plastic pieces aimed at the youngest childeren. There are a few more-mature / classical snakes and ladder games out there but a trooper set is actually hard to find. In fact I was looking for a more neutral version rather than this very classic version of the game. Yet it is generally well presented. It comes in a sturdy box that is good for storage and the board is of reasonable size (i would have appreciated a slightly larger board, but again that was hard to find) and it comes with a tiny but sufficient description. What I don’t like, similar to most other reviewers, is the ridiculously small dice that is included. The four wooden play pieces are okay (but one wonders why not two more were included as the game lends itself to play with more people). But that tiny dice just doesn’t roll in a natural manner and the little wooden dice cup that comes with it is simply pointless. As such we use our own dice tray, cup and dice when playing this game. Given the minuscule size of the accessories I also wonder why the box needed to be so big. As said, we have many board games, up to the pint where storage is becoming an issue. This snakes and ladders game could have had a box that was half as thick and save me space. Even so I’m glad we got this game and this version given the limited alternatives. And we have played it many times since.

Poor quality and the fake advertising, the image did not coincide with the product itself. The board has a damage as well.

An absolutely beautiful and solid game set. Could have bought a different cheaper set but this is a well made, traditional looking set and I love the style. Will definitely look at other years board games from this manufacturer.

Looks well. The supplied dice is rubbish, else has a great retro look. Is a proper full size board and box.

The board game is sadly made of poor quality paper. Looks extremely ordinary and will tear easily. Dissatisfied.

Jeu ancien que ma petite-fille de 5 ans adore… tout comme moi étant petite… à présent nous jouons ensemble des parties pleines de rebondissements 🥰 Seul petit bémol… les pions sont un peu petits… et le dé vraiment minuscule 😆
