Wish I I had known about Monstrum before purchasing from Primary Arms
This 4x prism scope is better in every way than my $375 Primary Arms 3x Prism scope except in Size and Weight. It's definitely heavier, larger and bulkier than what I was expecting but when you look down the Lens you forget about all that with it's CRISP 4X magnification and that ∆ Chevron type retical, I forgot .....name^ . The red and green shake awake illuminations are easy button presses and at the highest settings aren't all blurry like I've found on my Primary Arms. The only thing I can't compare yet is if it keeps its zero which I hope I does as well as it's Primary Arms competitor. Highly recommend this scope and almost everything from MONSTRUM for that matter, they are that amazing company that puts out Quality Product and very affordable Prices.

Great reticle, descent glass, great eye relief, great price.
This really surprised me. I'm switching to the Cyborg from a Vortex strike fire II with the Vortex 3x magnifier. I was very surprised. Mostly because I associate Monstrum with cheap Chinese trash but it seems like they are stepping up their game quite. It also looks like Chinese manufacturers are getting better. I was very impressed with the glass quality. It's not great but it is pretty good. I really like the BDC reticle and the illumination was cool as well. Really with the etched glass, there is a good chance I wont even use the even use the illumination. The overall build quality seems really good and it has held zero on my 5.56. The 4x magnification makes target acquisition a little slower than a red dot but it's not bad at all. Overall I wish I had bought this instead of spending 400+ on my Vortex setup. Very happy with the Cyborg so far.

Great bang for buck provided the correct eye relief.
I've purchased a few monstrum products and have been very happy with them, especially for their value. I wanted to try out prism scopes, and decided to give monstrum a try. This scope is pretty good in all honesty, the glass is great, the reticle is clear and the illumination the perfect brightness for lighting up the reticle clearly without scattering everywhere. The adjustment knobs are ok. I personally dont like the tool knob set up, but it is what it is, it has held zero up to 5.56 at least. The mount does its job. There are no lense covers/caps/killflashes to speak of, nor am I aware of any availible aftermarket. The biggest issue I have with this scope is the eye relief, it is pretty tight and unforgiving. I originally planned to toss this on a 10/22, but even after putting the scope as far back on the rail as possible, I could not get in the right place, which is a bummer because I otherwise would have loved it for that (it has since found an upper to call home, where the eye relief is much better) If you planned to put this on anything other than an AR, be aware.

Monstrum for the Win. Calling out all Range Day Dorks
I have an astigmatism and other than surgery this is a wonderful alternative. It is extra crispy viewing through it too. Monstum may have just stole me as a customer from Vortex because my lord. Price difference is real. Like few hundred dollars and I’ve never been able to tell the difference or see much difference in glass quality. That is till I tried this beautiful 32mm piece of equipment that Vortex probably does have , but for significantly more just because. Plus it took up significantly less space than my previous 1-8 Strike eagle and I don’t feel the need to baby my rifle because I don’t have a stupidly expensive regular optic on it. This has let me fully be done with all of the TacVest range shooting primadonnas that overpay for all the wrong gear, and can’t manage recoil or keep their shooting eye disciplined to save their unnecessary 400 dollar plate carrier as they go shoot 20 rounds at an indoor range and spend 4 hours arguing whose got the best most fully optimized setup. Meanwhile none of them can hit center or shoot a sub-MOA group to save their life as they blame every bit of overpriced gear rather than the real issue, their own expertise in jibber jabber and lack of proficiency actually putting the work in.

Wow What a Great Sight
This was my first prism sight after using many scope type sights over the year and I have to say this 4x Monstrum prism sight was a new and pleasurable experience. Disregard the reviews of those that have no idea as to how far away on the rail to mount the sight to eliminate “Scope Shadow” or not being able to quickly pick up the retinal. I prefer the green chevron over the red, making moa adjustments is quick and easy and using the bullet drop compensator (BDC) is easy to use once you have the sight zeroed for your preferred shooting distance all your required data is at your eye to hit targets further out or closer in. What’s not to like about this sight? I read reviews of whiners saying it’s too heavy, they can’t see through it, the eye box is too small, etc. these are kids that are trying to use a quality sight for paint ball shooting and not combat shooting and they haven’t a clue of the difference. Buy the sight, spend time in getting to know and understanding how the sight works, make your adjustments and enjoy one of the most affordable prism scopes available.

Seems like a nice optic - will revise after a range visit or 3
4* pending range visit - the chevron sight is perfect - as I am a hunter and plinker - eye relief is more than fine, and tuning the diopter ring makes it CRISP looks nice - clean glass -- not exceptional, but not yellowed downs so far it's 'too heavy - which may be why the next is also true - it could be 70% of this weight it doesn't come on a QD mount U/D, L/R should be clearly marked on adjusters, and SHOULD NOT be spelled out in long-hand in the little booklet - the "lightening cuts" are there for show, and are both needless and hard corners to bang fingers into - should be remove More to come after range time
