Great purchase, great customer support
The band looks great and feels durable. I am using it with my Apple Watch and a BARTON Band Adapter. However, I am unhappy with the quick release switch. After using the band for a couple of days, the quick release pin sunk inside the band and is not easily reachable anymore. It is not anymore a "swap in seconds" band, since I need to use a knife to move the pins whenever I want to detach the band.UPDATE (Nov. 2017):I contacted Barton's customer support and I have to say it is fantastic. They refunded my purchase AND sent my a replacement band, also with a gift. Wow. I changed my previous rating to five stars.

Hit or miss with the Garmin vivoactive 3
Purchased this canvas band for my Garmin vivoactive 3. It fit well and looked great, so I went ahead and ordered a Barton buckle in gunmetal grey to better match my Garmin watch styling vs. the bright stainless steel buckle. After a couple days, the stitching in the canvas band started to come loose. (Some other reviewers also had this issue.) I contacted Barton and they sent out a replacement canvas band, as well as a free silicone strap for my inconvenience. Excellent customer service. The replacement canvas band arrived and I installed it. The stitching looked better, so I was pleased. But when I woke up in the morning, the band had detached from one side of my device in the night. I assumed I had put it on incorrectly, and reattached it. A few hours later, the pin detached again and my watch fell onto the hard concrete. After the third time the band detached and fell off, I contacted Barton again. They asked me if I had a Garmin vivo device. Once I confirmed, they quickly sent (copy/paste) a lengthy and very detailed explanation saying they receive mixed comments from Garmin customers, did their own research with a Garmin vivomove HR device, and claimed Garmin was "dancing to the beat of its own drum" vs. using a standard 20mm lug width. They apologized and said they would issue me a refund.I can only attest to the three Barton bands I received. The first canvas band fit great, but the stitching fell apart at the seams. The replacement canvas band repeatedly came disconnected from my device and is unusable - stitching looked better. The complimentary silicone band fit great and stayed connected. I compared the two canvas bands and can definitely see with the naked eye that the pin that keeps coming loose is shorter than the one in the band that stays attached. I don't believe it's a Garmin issue, but rather a quality control issue with the Barton bands...at least with the three bands I had to compare. That being said, the company has awesome customer service. They replied to all my messages promptly, tried to resolve my issue, and refunded my money when they couldn't.Thought I'd write this review for other Garmin vivoactive 3 wearers who want to give this band a try. Yours may fit perfectly, or it may not. The seller seems willing to refund money when it does not. It's worth the risk in my opinion since the band looks great when it fits properly. Just be prepared to catch your watch in mid-air if it detaches.I'd give this band five stars if I received one that had good stitching AND two pins that fit properly. Onto searching for a different brand...

Unacceptable.
Update 1: Barton contacted me and they are sending me a new band for free, they seem to be on top of costumer service, which i appreciated. ⭐⭐I do not often write reviews but because if my frustration with this watch band I figured i’d give people a heads up. My wife bought the band for me for christmas along with a new watch. I didn’t get around to switching the original band with this one until about 6 weeks ago. Until then it had remained in the box. I had no trouble changing the band as this one comes with the quick release. I was please with the way it looked and they way it feels. HOWEVER, last week while sitting at my computer desk I looked down at my watch to find that the stitching had come undone and now the watch band is runined. Now, this is my daily wearer but i’ve only had this band on for a month and a half and I work a desk job. I have also worn other canvas bands in the past, one for several years as a daily wearer without issue. In my opinion this is just is unacceptable and extremely disappointing from a brand with so many good looking bands.

Putting Other Colors on My Christmas List
Just got this today so I will revise if my opinion changes.I have a Gear 3 Frontier which I wear everyday for its communication, health and safety features, so I need a band that is comfortable while driving, keyboarding, gardening, etc., dark to dark. It also needs to be easy to adjust throughout the day. The original silicon band was too stiff and too hot. Nylon bands were hot and stiff, almost cutting into the skin at the edges. The Band felt secure and was easy to adjust but was too wide for comfort and its velcro attracted lint. The affordable leather bands on Amazon look cheap and I'm allergic to metal bands. Whine, whine, whine, right? This canvas band hits all my marks. Breathable, easy to attach to the watch, comfortable width without the wider patch under the watch itself like The Band, lots of holes set close together for easy adjustment, cleans with damp cloth, fits on the charger, overall a nice compromise between sturdy and good-looking. The red is a true blue red that looks great with my black watch. I will be back for more colors.

Very comfortable, but not very durable
I have had this strap for just under a year, fitted to a Huawei Watch 2 which I wear most of the time - even when I'm asleep (the watch does have sleep tracker after all). It is much more comfortable and lighter than the horrible one supplied. With any strap like this you have to hope the holes are in the right place for you, I find one is a bit loose but the next one up too tight. My biggest gripe is the durability, this strap is not cheap but one of the end retaining loops (it had 2) has broken and I don't think the other will last much longer. I used to have a animal watch with a webbing velcro strap - these would last 3-4 years and were regularly used in the wet - I haven't got this strap wet (as the watch isn't waterproof).Would give 4 stars if it was half the price.

Started to fall apart after a month
I've had my Barton strap fitted to my watch since receiving it almost exactly a month ago, I've since worn the watch almost every day until today when the stitching failed. To me this represents poor quality control in what is fundamentally a well designed product. Rather disappointing to say the least, but seems consistent with some of the other reviews. A watch strap should be a simple thing to get right, I will continue my search for the right strap for me.Coincidently, I just noticed that my Amazon return window closed the day the stitching failed, I've contacted Barton Watch Bands directly to see how they want to handle this.

Cheer up that old watch with the best straps out there!
This is my third Barton strap, as there's nothing else out there that matches them for quality, design, range and value. Add to that the clever quick release system that makes changing the straps a breeze, and you have a winning formula. I have been looking for a genuine cotton canvas (as opposed to the ubiquitous nylon) to replace an original Hamilton strap for years, and the Barton is far better quality with a huge range of colours.I've also bought the top grain leather and suede straps and each one has been great. It's also important to add that these straps are not tapered, and have a squared off end. Difficult to find, but infinitely better looking, so that's another added bonus. So if you've seen a new watch that you fancy, but don't like the strap that it comes with, then just replace it with a Barton. It never ceases to amaze me how a strap can completely change the look of a watch. Or, better still, cheer up that old friend that lies in your room by buying a couple of alternatives to give it a great new look! Thoroughly recommended.

Strap colour has faded within two weeks of wearing it.
I purchased this strap specifically because of the material of the strap and that it was fitted with the quick release spring bars.My intention was to wear it continuously, regardless of what I was doing, especially having to get it wet.I have worn it for about two weeks and unfortunately the strap, especially the runners has already started to fade badly. Being a black strap it shows up worse and now the runners and the edges of the strap are a showing a light greyish colour. And I am in the process of returning it. Which is a great shame as the strap fits perfectly and is very comfortable to wear.ADD - ON 26.09.18Since my review, Barton contacted me and were extremely apologetic and offered to replace or refund the cost.I accepted their offer of a replacement strap, which arrived very quickly earlier today.Initially, I was going to send the strap back, but the fading on the strap has grown on me and actually suits my vintage looking watch nicely.Apart from the fading of its colour, I have to say that the strap is extremely comfortable to wear.

Great looking strap suits my bronze diver perfectly.
So far very happy with my choice of strap, the khaki colour matches my bronze diver absolutely perfectly. Now let us get down to the strap review.Comfort firstly I was pleasantly supprised to find the strap very comfortable straight out of the box no breaking in required it was comfortable to wear all day long. So no problems here. The finish and build quality I found very good for the price point. The attention to detail on the stitching is excellent all perfectly straight with reinforcement around the sizing holes for extra durability. The brushed stainless steel buckle is also of good quality and matches the style of strap perfectly. The quick release spring bars are always a bonus providing they are of a decent strength and quality finish and these seem fine.As for the longevity of the strap and quick release spring bars only time will tell but I honestly can't forsee any problems. Now for the negatives, this will be quick as I can't find any just one or two little niggles. Firstly and this is not a fault of the strap but I would have liked to have seen these with different buckle finishes for example polished, brushed and PVD coated. Not quite a deal breaker but mine would have looked better with a black PVD coated buckle to match the crown. I would have liked the strap to be a little thicker but having said that it probably would not be as comfortable and would also cost a little more. Still on the fence with the thickness as I would not like to trade it for the comfort factor.Just to summarise these straps are excellent for the money in all the areas that matter the most, I am just hoping I can say the same in time for the longevity of the strap. I will update with some more thoughts after I have owned this strap for enough time to test it properly.I can see several more of these beauty's on the horizon to complement some of my other watches. Thanks for taking the time to read my little review. Regards Gary...
