NP56J Nori Paste, 10-Ounce , White

I was very pleased with this product it did what I wanted, it required very little glue, which meant very low risk of damage to my book. A paper corner on my book’s cover was peeling up and I used this to glue down that corner. It was very easy to work with required only a very tiny amount and did not damage the surrounding areas. The brushes I ordered to help with the application had not arrived, so I applied it using only my hands, and I found the results very agreeable, really easy to work with long cure time easy to clean up. There was a rubbery skin over the top as other users had complained , however this was not a problem. I just extracted the glue from below and it worked perfectly. Store it in the refrigerator after opening to prolong usable life. The manufacturer says it can be reconstituted with water however, I did not have to do that and given little glue is required. I may not ever use enough of this jar to have to experiment with that. II’m glad I learned about this product. (It's been 9 months now and the jar of glue is still usable)

This stuff is great! Very easy to use. I repaired a 100 year old Japaneze art piece and it was awesome!

I'm a professional collage artist and this stuff is the best!! Easy to use, spreadable, doesn't wrinkle paper, dries flat and smooth, layers well, you only need a small amount to spread thinly, and cleans up with water. You can top it with acrylic paints or matte medium (its water based so anything adheres to the top). I recommend a topcoat of some sort as a final sealer, but I love this paste! Also, no smell or chemicals. All my professional artist friends love this paste! If you've used YES paste, this is like a thinner and more spreadable version - trumps YES paste any day!

I enjoy this paste. It is repositionable, paper doesn't wrinkle, and I can spread it very thin with a paint knife.

I've used this product before but this item arrived half empty, unsealed, and the protective layer to keep it from drying out, was dislodged from where it should be. Stuff happens, but to my surprise, it's not returnable. This was not obvious when I purchased it. There is something indicating to go to the website or call for support. The website gives a 404 error. Phone is probably forwarding to Asia but is a Los Angeles number. I hope they deal with this promptly. I'm in the midst of something deadline driven and almost bought a competitive product and now I guess that is what I should do. Great product. Not easy to clean it but it adheres well. But no easy support if anything goes wrong, so buyer beware.

Does what its meant to do, less mess more control with amont used.

If you want a paste that does not dry immediately and gives you time to adjust papar being pasted. This is it. It is water soluble so the tiniest bit of water will soften the paste for removal. As a quick repair I have tried several kinds paste AND glue and none would reattack loose wall paper. With a little water added to this paste (mix well) I spread a layer over the back of the paper and applied to the wall as you would any other wall paper. That was six weeks ago. None of it has come loose. All the other glues lasted a couple days. I have not had to remove any of the paper for any reason so do not know.if there are any problems. Remember the paste is water soluble. That should make it easy to release the paper.

This is the best paste that I've used for bookbinding. I no longer prepare my own; Nori is much better. I wish it would cost less.

I used this to paste endpapers on a repair. Very easy to apply and dried wrinkle and bubble free. It is not cheap but is worthwhile if you haven't got time to cook wheat starch yourself.

This is a great product and I have ordered it several times without any issues. This time, it arrived loose in the package (no packing material to protect it), the lid was completely off and there was no inner lid that provides an additional protection of the product. So it was partially dried out and a glob of it was smeared inside the envelope.
