Finally, a worthy successor to my Sandisk Sport Go
I had a simple Sandisk Sport Go player for years, and it did what I needed it to do. Then it broke, and I tried several players before landing on this one. This one, the AGPTEX A65, does everything my Sandisk did, but better, and with a longer battery life and more capacity, too. Importantly, it also has tactile buttons, so I can use it without having to look at it (a problem I have with the "digital button" varieties). These buttons also function when the screen is dark. Setting it up was easy -- I just copied everything off my Sandisk music folder into the new folder on my AGPTEK, and then I was up and running in minutes. The only complaints I have are very minor. One, the button has a big tactile hitbox, but only a very small portion of it actually gives input to the machine. I have to push it a couple times if I'm fumbling with it while doing something else. Two, the firmware update software works, but it's obtuse and badly designed. The option to erase your drive is checked BY DEFAULT. So if you update the firmware, be sure to un-check "flash erase" unless you feel like reloading the machine.

I might just love this
Bought this because after 20 years and 2 Sansa clips that just recently broke I was in need of a new mp3 player for use at the gym. Actually, I had no idea they even made these anymore and went looking on e-bay for another Sansa which are discontinued. Glad I didn’t buy one and came to amazon and did a search and found this. This MP3 had the most reviews, and positive ratings. I was pleased that aside from playing music, I can also play the FM radio. It also has other features that my S-clip didn’t have such as a pedometer, Bluetooth, and much more storage and options for audio books among others I probably won’t use. Setting this up was pretty straightforward. I read the instructions and had no problems loading my music. It went really smooth. It may take me a bit to learn the navigation of the display but not because it’s difficult, more so because I’m used to using my other device. Sound on this is good. Seems to have more treble than bass but I’m not bothered by it. I will say though this thing cranks and can play very LOUD. I’ll have to be careful with that because I like loud music but I also like my ability to hear better. I just received this today so I can’t really say much about its reliability or how long the charge lasts but other reviewers seem pleased with it. Lastly I was happy with the price. I believe I found my new exercise companion and don’t need to mourn the death of my Sansa. If I have any issues that occur I will update but I think this will work out nicely and be a great replacement.

Sound Quality Is Terrible, Much Distortion
I've had a AGPtek G02 since 2020 when my last iPod Shuffle died. Other than the sketchy controls that sometimes act up it has performed perfectly on countless runs, hikes and trips over the years. I bought another in 2022 and unfortunately that one will only shuffle and will not play tracks in order no matter what you do with the files. Here I am over three years later, the G02s are getting old, and I notice AGPtek has a new player designed for runners that supports Bluetooth, so I ordered this one. In short, it sounds terrible. Lots of distortion at all frequencies, and the built-in graphic eq cannot help it. The cheap old G02 sounds so much better and fuller it's like night and day. This new one has so many features, most I'll never use, honestly, but having a display to scroll through tracks by artist, album, genre, folder is great. Unfortunately, none of this functionality is worth a rip since the sound is so poor. I tried different file types, headphones, etc., a/b'd with the G02, so I know it is definitely the player. They added all this functionality apparently at the expense of audio quality. Unforgivable, really, and very disappointing. As for the Bluetooth, it paired easily with my JBL Charge 5 speaker but no luck with my Subaru's BT system. This wouldn't have been a deal breaker by itself since I mostly use wired devices anyway. Sent it right back. Maybe I will roll the dice with another old G02 as I see they're still available and hope I get lucky though I doubt it after all this time. My experience is that all these AGPtek products are a crapshoot and I wonder if I will ever get another good one like the first one I bought. If it doesn’t work I give up.

Super in-depth review
I spent weeks looking for an MP3 player for my car before finally settling on this one, and I just need to say that I couldn't be happier with any MP3 player. I have a lot to say about it. I was really picky when looking for one. I wanted one for use in the car, so it needed tactile buttons. I also wanted the ability to make playlists without plugging it into a computer, I wanted the ability to shuffle music, and I wanted a headphone jack. When this came in the mail, I was a little questioning, but it grew on me very fast! First of all, the buttons. They click when you press them all the way, and they're actual push buttons instead of those types of buttons where you touch it and it registers. That makes it very easy to feel around and skip or rewind songs without looking at the screen, which is ideal while doing things like driving. Additionally, when you open the menu from the Now Playing screen, and highlight an option in the menu, then exit the menu, if you open that menu again, it will remember what was last highlighted! This is a great feature that makes adding music to a specific playlist very safe and easy while on the go! The sound quality is decent when plugged in. I've mainly been using it on my car stereo plugged in via AUX cord, and it sounds great, that's little to no difference between the MP3 player and my phone. When using corded headphones, I'm pleasantly surprised by how good it sounds, even in the cheapest of earbuds. But what I was surprised to find was that this MP3 player also has Bluetooth! And it sounded great in my Bluetooth speaker, but I had difficulty keeping it connected to Bluetooth earbuds, because after a few seconds it disconnects from them and it has to then reconnect, only to once again disconnect a few second later. If this feature wasn't present, I would easily give this item five stars, but for what I use this MP3 player for, it's perfect. A few more details that I meant to add but don't want to keep typing: - Second day of using the MP3 player, I tried to turn it off in middle of adding a song to a playlist, and the screen and controls froze. Music continued to play but it was essentially bricked until it ended up dying. After charging it again, it continued working just fine and I haven't had the problem since. - The battery life is amazing. It feels like it lasts so long. I often forget to turn it off when I get out of the car and come back the next day to find it still on, playing music. - The clip on the back is nice and strong and it's hard to lose it when clipped to your clothing. I like to keep it clipped to the AUX cord in my car for ease of access while driving. - There are screen brightness settings! Very nice. - You can only make up to three playlists by the looks of it. I would like to make more, but unfortunately can't. However, you can add music to playlists from the menu, the song doesn't need to actively be playing for you to add it to a playlist. Super helpful! Overall, I'm glad to say that it's worth the money.

Great little player for the price!
The AGPTEK 64GB MP3 Player with Clip, A65 Bluetooth 5.3 Lossless Sound with FM Radio, Voice Recorder for Sport Running, Supports up to 128GB TF Card, Black…is a beast! It did everything I wanted. I connected it to an HP laptop via its supplied USB-C/USB cable and Windows 11 loaded it right up. The instructions weren’t that great and I was surprised there wasn’t a MUSIC file to drop my songs into…you just copy/paste them into the only file that shows up. The menus take a little hunting/pecking but you eventually end up getting what you want. It seems to play every music file type I have, including .mp3 files. The display is tiny, but easily readable and it even clearly displays the Album Covers I have attached to each song! It took a fair amount of time to load my 3,000 songs…it is what it is! Connecting it to my cheap Sony Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headphones was no big deal. The sound is very good, enough volume control to select from. The little 1 inch square display goes blank after a little bit, I guess to conserve battery power. It has more features than I probably will ever use…..pedometer, pictures, recorder, etc. I just wanted a new MP3 player and Bluetooth was a bonus! I do like having the headphone jack for use on airplanes. There was no memory card in the package, so I guess you have to supply your own. Woulda been nice to get one in the box!!! Quality seems pretty good so far. The small buttons work well. I like the little on/off switch on the top. Even though the buttons are small, the ergonomics/human factors is/are good. I’m give this little player a solid 5 stars. Only time will tell if it lasts!!!! I might buy another one for a spare!!!!

I like this player
Very nice little player, I still use MP3 players I am a bit older and I still get CDs. I have many CDs that I rip into MP3 format. This little player is fantastic for working out for playing music while doing things and has a pretty good sound. Look at the specs to see what is capable of like Bluetooth, but to be truthful I still prefer the old wired connected earbuds. The displays it takes a little learning to get around it works pretty good but after a little playing with it I find navigating the display panel is fairly simple. It runs a long time on a charge. I recommend the product it's pretty good. Wish everyone well.

Portable but Bad Bluetooth Connection & Weak Battery
The best thing about this one is the portable size with the clip , sound quality is not excellent but accepted ( good ) ,material is pretty nice touch with good design & finish, But here is the problem the Bluetooth connection is week & really bad , I have to keep the Player at less than 2 feet close to the wireless earbuds just to keep connected , sound keeps cutting out not only when I m running but also if I walk faster than normal , The Battery is supposed to last for 30 hours as advertised but I think this is with wired headphones but with the Bluetooth wireless one it lasts only for few hours of continuous play so I have to charge it every day or every other day at least , I give it 3 out of 5 , I would give it 5 stars if it had a good Bluetooth connection & a longstanding Battery

Works Great!
AGPTEK makes the best and most rugged MP3 players I have ever used. After trying a couple budget brands I am back to AGPTEK for an upgrade. All the off brands have failed in less than a year, and my old original 7 year old AGPTEK is still working. I only bought this one for the upgraded bluetooth capabilities. You can't go wrong here folks.
