Didn't use it bought the wrong item wanted a dehumidifier. What i know of the switchbot environment,; it is easy to set up and use

This is fantastic unit but it works better with the switchbot hydrometer thermometer paired with it is so easy the use even use as a fill tank for the robot cleaner with mop, only one draw back it is verry noisy if it has to work hard but on normal operation can not hear it

since then, it has this old sewage water smell from the filter. none of the suggested cleaning methods does the job. don't recommend buying this one.

I really like the idea of this in terms of wick evaporation with a shower that flows from above, rather than just leaving the wick sitting in a pool of gradually moulding water. But such a design requires a water pump, and in my case, the pump died within one day, a condition that’s a pain to diagnose. Their website has a section about replacing the pump, implying this isn’t that uncommon. I wouldn’t feel confident getting another one.

The Switchbot Humidifier is fantastic! It has a large, removable water container that's super easy to fill and clean. The filter is easily accessible too, with easy instructions on the app on when and how to clean. The smart app control makes it convenient to adjust settings, and the sleep timer is great for overnight use. What truly sets it apart is pairing it with the Switchbot Air Quality Monitor. When paired, the humidifier automatically adjusts itself based on the humidity level and temperature—making the whole process fully automated. I don't have to think about it at all, and it keeps the air at the perfect humidity all the time. Highly recommend!

J’ai commandé cet humidificateur d’air pour améliorer celle ci dans ma maison suite à l'opération des végétations de ma fille. Ce produit vient se rajouter à la gamme de SwitchBot que nous possédons déjà. Très bien conçu et très facile d’installation. En 10min l’appareil est en fonctionnement avec les réglages dans l'application compris. Il dispose de plusieurs réglages pour l'intensité de l'humidité, et j'aime beaucoup le fait qu'il ne s'agisse pas d'une brume épaisse mais plutôt d'un nuage transparent. L'appareil est très silencieux et il est donc très simple de le positionner dans votre séjour ou dans une chambre sans que vous soyez dérangé. En résumé, le produit est très satisfaisant et je suis très content d'avoir investi dans celui-ci.

I’m extremely pleased with the SwitchBot Smart Evaporative Humidifier! It’s been a game changer for my apartment. The 4.5L capacity ensures it lasts through the night, and the 750ml/h rapid humidification is really effective. One of my favorite features is the ability to connect the humidifier to the SwitchBot Meter Pro, which allows me to monitor the humidity levels and set the ideal control range. The top-fill design makes refilling super easy, and the automatic air-drying filter is a great touch, making maintenance a breeze. Cleaning the filter is so simple—just toss it in the washing machine on a quick wash cycle! I love how convenient it is to maintain. Plus, it integrates with voice control and app alerts, making it incredibly easy to monitor and adjust the humidity. It’s quiet, efficient, and does exactly what I need to keep my space comfortable. Highly recommend!

I've been in the market for a humidifer because my kid is having tonsil surgery and we were told that it would speed up recovery, and this one was the one I went with because I've got several SwithBot products already and have been really happy with them so far. To start, setup is really easy both with the hardware and getting it into the app as well. Setting up the device is as simple as unboxing and filling the tank with water and plugging the device in. Alternatively, you can also pair it up with a SwitchBot mop/vac and it will refill its tank from the mop's tank through a little port on the bottom of the humidifier - super cool feature that really blew me away. I have a regular switchbot vacuum that doesn't have the mop feature, so I wasn't able to test this but that might be reason for me to get one. Setting it up in the app was as easy as hitting "add new" and letting it find the nearby device and adding it to the wifi. It's as easy as can be. Once it's in the app, you can control it directly in the app or with the buttons on top of the device (pictured) which I like a lot - some of the smart devices tend to force you to use the app which really makes it tough when you want to just walk up and push a button on it, or if the kids want to control it without an app. It has multiple settings for the intensity of humidity, and I also really like that it's not a heavy mist that condenses on the ground or is super visible and "foggy" like other cheap ones I've had. It appears completely transparent to me and is also very quiet so easy to keep in a room with, say, a tv and not have it be a disruption. The other thing I really like about this one is that when the water runs out, the light on top turns bright red to let you know so there's no mistaking it. In other models I've had, it's easy to let the water run out and not realize it. There are only two downsides I've found on this model that I didn't care for - and even these are really nitpicky. The first one is that the tank feels a little small for the size of the device BUT that's probably because of all the tech that's otherwise in this device - it has multiple filters that it runs through, and they're all reusable stuff so I give that a pass. The other one is that the default lights are SO bright. I had to leave them on sleep mode all the time because they're too bright to be in a normally lit room without lighting the whole room up - that's great for when it's out of water, but other times it's just kind of annoying. That said, you can easily change the settings and dim those lights so not a real issue. The last one is that the instructions have a lot of criteria for how close you can set it to anything and that makes it a challenge to stay within those guidelines for me and meet the manufacturer's suggestion, but I think they're probably just "for best results" and not rhard requirements so I'm also not terrible concerned about that either. Overally, this is a really excelllent product and I am very happy with the ease of setup and the overall functionality and reliability of it.

Mein Ziel: eine Luftfeuchtigkeit von 55%, die sowohl für Menschen als auch für Pflanzen optimal ist. Vorgeschichte: Zuvor hatte ich einen Vernebler von Big L in Gebrauch. Es dauerte ca. zwei Wochen (24 Stunden am Tag), bis die Grundfeuchtigkeit im Raum von 30% auf etwa 45% anstieg. Das ist wichtig zu wissen: Man sollte nicht erwarten, dass ein Luftbefeuchter sofort Ergebnisse liefert, denn jeder Raum benötigt Zeit, um eine erhöhte Feuchtigkeit aufzubauen. Danach war es einfacher, 50–55% zu halten. Leider störten mich bei diesem Vernebler die vernbelte Luft, das häufige Reinigen und die Tatsache, dass mein Luftreiniger immer auf Hochtouren lief, sobald der Vernebler eingeschaltet war. Obwohl ich weiches Leitungswasser verwende (keine Probleme mit Verkalkung), fand ich heraus, dass Vernebler mineralische Partikel in die Luft abgeben – auf Dauer nicht gesund. Zudem sind diese Geräte bekannt dafür, Keime zu verbreiten, weshalb häufiges Reinigen notwendig ist. Wer einen Vernebler nutzen möchte, sollte wirklich nur destilliertes Wasser verwenden. Letztendlich gab das Gerät den Geist auf. Warum ein Kaltverdunster? Nach intensiver Recherche entschied ich mich für einen Kaltverdunster – die sauberste Lösung für ein gutes Raumklima. Ich hatte den Luftbefeuchter von SwitchBot und den Luftwäscher (Hybrid) von Big V im Blick. Zuerst probierte ich den teureren Big V aus. Der Luftwäscher hat nie mehr als 45–50% Luftfeuchtigkeit erreicht und brauchte nach jedem Lüften Stunden, um überhaupt ein paar Prozent zu erhöhen. Für ein Gerät, das für 50 m² ausgelegt ist, war das eine Enttäuschung. Neben der schwachen Leistung störte mich dort vor allem die Verwendung von chemischen Zusätzen für die Wasserpflege. Aus Frust entschied ich mich, den SwitchBot zu bestellen – und das war die beste Entscheidung! Meine Erfahrung mit dem SwitchBot Zusätzlich zum Luftbefeuchter bestellte ich den SwitchBot Meter mit CO₂-Melder. Viele Leute beschweren sich darüber, dass man bei SwitchBot ein zusätzliches Hygrometer kaufen muss, aber ich finde diese Lösung genial und einzigartig. Warum? Eingebaute Hygrometer in Geräten dieser Art sind ungenau und fast unbrauchbar. Die Möglichkeit, externes Hygrometer anzubinden, erlaubt eine viel genauere Feuchtigkeitssteuerung und gibt mir Flexibilität. Diese Option ist ein großer Pluspunkt für mich. Hygrometer-Kalibrierung – ganz wichtig! Ich möchte hier betonen, wie wichtig die Kalibrierung des Hygrometers ist. Mein SwitchBot Meter zeigte anfangs etwa 4–5% zu niedrige Werte. Ich habe es mit einem Referenz-Hygrometer überprüft und anschließend mit der Salzlösung-Methode kalibriert. Diese einfache Methode ist ideal, um sicherzustellen, dass die Messwerte wirklich stimmen. Wer keine genaue Feuchtigkeit misst, wird auch nicht zufrieden mit einem Luftbefeuchter sein. Deshalb mein Tipp: Kalibrieren Sie Ihr Hygrometer vor der Nutzung! Nach der Kalibrierung richtete ich alles kinderleicht ein. Ich war überrascht: Innerhalb von 30 Minuten stieg die Luftfeuchtigkeit auf über 60%! Das hätte Big V nie geschafft. Für meine Bedürfnisse habe ich den "Feuchte-Modus" gewählt. Warum ich die Ziel-Feuchtigkeit auf 50% einstelle? Der Luftbefeuchter wechselt erst in den Ruhemodus, wenn der gemessene Wert 5% über dem eingestellten Zielwert liegt. Das bedeutet: Bei 50% als Zielwert bleibt die Luftfeuchtigkeit konstant bei ca. 55%, was für mich optimal ist. Wenn ich direkt 55% einstelle, würde das Gerät erst bei 60% abschalten, was mir zu hoch ist. Diese Funktion ist clever, da sie die Feuchtigkeit stabil hält, ohne übermäßig zu befeuchten. Mit zusätzlichen App-Einstellungen könnte das jedoch noch besser werden. Zum Beispiel wäre es ideal, die Toleranzwerte individuell anzupassen oder den Übergang der Lüfterstufen feiner zu steuern. Diese Optionen fehlen derzeit, aber vielleicht liest jemand von SwitchBot mit und verbessert dies in zukünftigen Updates – wer weiß! Das Gerät arbeitet dabei fast die ganze Zeit auf der niedrigsten Stufe – leise, stromsparend und mit geringem Wasserverbrauch. Kritikpunkte: - Ein kleines Manko ist, dass das Gerät in der 3. Stufe (bis die Zielfeuchtigkeit erreicht ist) deutlich hörbar ist. Sobald jedoch 1% über dem Zielwert erreicht ist, wechselt es in die leisere 2. oder 1. Stufe. Mehr Einstellmöglichkeiten in der App wären hier hilfreich. - Probleme bei der Filtertrocknung in der Automation: Wenn das Gerät über eine erstellte Automation ausgeschaltet wird, startet zwar die automatische Filtertrocknung, aber sie bricht gelegentlich nach ca. 15 Sekunden ab, und das Gerät geht in den Standby-Modus. Der Zusammenhang ist für mich noch unklar, aber es scheint ein Bug zu sein. Hoffentlich liest jemand von SwitchBot mit und behebt das Problem in einem Update. Manuelle Abschaltung funktioniert einwandfrei. -Laut Produkt-Beschreibung soll das Gerät mit einem Silber-Ionen-Modul (antibakteriell) ausgestattet sein. Nach Rückfrage beim SB Support wurde mir erklärt, dass Modelle für den europäischen Markt stattdessen ein UV-Licht-Modul nutzen – wartungsfrei und sogar effektiver. Diese Information sollte klarer in der Produktbeschreibung angegeben werden. Tipps für die Nutzung: 1. Zeit lassen: Es dauert ca. zwei Wochen, bis ein Raum eine stabile Feuchtigkeit aufbaut (mit diesem Gerät vermutlich schneller). 2. Vor der ersten Nutzung gründlich reinigen: Ohne Reinigung roch die ausgeblasene Luft anfangs etwas streng. Der Geruch verflog jedoch nach 2–3 Tagen. 3. Hygrometer kalibrieren: Unbedingt vor der Nutzung das Hygrometer mit einem Referenzgerät oder der Salzlösung-Methode kalibrieren, um genaue Messwerte zu erhalten. Pro & Contra PRO: * Enorme Befeuchtungsleistung * Einfache Reinigung * Komfortable Wasserbefüllung * Möglichkeit zur Nutzung externer Hygrometer (einzigartig und genial) * Sehr leise in der 1. und 2. Stufe * Geringer Stromverbrauch CONTRA: * 3. und 4. Stufe sind deutlich hörbar * Bug bei der Filtertrocknung in der Automation * Verbesserungsbedarf bei der App (fehlende Optionen wie Toleranzwerte und Übergangssteuerung) * Stromkabel fest verbaut (ungünstige Designentscheidung) * Amazon-Beschreibung sollte das UV-Licht-Modul korrekt angeben Fazit Trotz kleiner Schwächen vergebe ich 5 Sterne. Der Luftbefeuchter überzeugt mit seiner Leistung, und ich hoffe, dass er lange hält und intakt bleibt. Besonders begeistert bin ich von der Möglichkeit, ein präzises externes Hygrometer anzubinden – das macht den SwitchBot für mich einzigartig und unschlagbar. Mit ein paar App-Verbesserungen könnte das Gerät jedoch nahezu perfekt sein!
