Surprisingly Good Stuff
Please folks, no more complaints about how messy it is. It -is- messy. Make the effort to protect yourself and any areas you don't want this on if you don't want to clean up afterward. And for the sky-is-falling crowd, a little isopropyl alcohol cleans up spots quickly and beautifully. Applied it to a Titan doorknob lock that has never worked properly since I got it several years ago. Took it apart several times and never found an issue but it would never twist-turn to lock. I suspect there may be a part or two barely bent or out-of-true causing it to bind when fully assembled. No worries .. a couple of shots of this dry lubricant and shazaam!, the twist-turn lock has never operated so smoothly. This task now out of the job jar forever. Installed a rather expensive Larsen three-hook Security Storm door three days ago. The wife was (correctly) complaining about how difficult/hard the internal latching mechanism was for her to set. Appropriate sprays to four different locations and a little repetitive twisting and she's a very happy camper right now. The spray's carrier is pretty volatile (evaporates quickly) so there is no residual moisture or oil in treated areas to leak or stain. What remains is a microfine layer of dry lubricant that seems to stick to surfaces and not shed, flake or settle away from where it's needed. This stuff will work well on housed cables (bikes, 'cycles, speedometers), locks, interior door hinges or any other small area inappropriate for liquid lubricants. And this stuff is also better than silicone for locks. And for folks that lose the spray tube (included), try saving leftover ink pen housings and store the straws in those. You can tape or velcro (whatever) the pen tube to your cabinet or throw it in the toolbox. I've never managed to lose one of these things after storing in a pen tube. All-in-all, it's only a tad pricey but I've worked with a number of graphited products before and this stuff strikes a nice balance.

Will fix key locks and much more
I have been using Lock-Ease for over 60 years. Decided it might be time to get a new can. If you have a key lock that isn't working as well, this will take care of it. And nothing left behind to collect dust. Recently a glass shower door wasn't rolling as easy as it used to. Guess what, better than ever with just a squirt of Lock-Ease on the roller.

works when others didn't
I had an old key hole and lock that had started sticking, to the point that it would not move. I tried another lubricant and it did not fix the problem. I live in the PNW and it rains and rains. This stuff fixed the problem, and has lasted. I will also use this on the locks that I put on my gate that become unusable. Definitely would recommend.

So far, so good.
Use this on my mailbox key that kept freezing over. So far, so good.

Best way to lube things like padlocks.
This spray form of graphite is nice to use---compared to getting powder all over the place. The oil helps it get into places better than powder I think. Wear latex gloves though---your fingers will get messy.

Locks now operate smoothly
Sprayed this on several outdoor vehicle locking mechanisms, and now they operate much better. Be aware, it leaves a nasty, dark residue on the surrounding area if you're not careful when you spray.

this stuff is MAGIC. They dont sell it on the shelf anymore because its so good, you spray it on hinges, inside all lock mechanisms (padlocks, doors, automotive)and thats it, youve serviced it for years. Works great to keep things moving at minus 40 degrees, cleans and lubricates padlocks that are left outside in the elements... just give it a shot into the mechanism and the shackle. No other product is good enough for me anymore.

Worked great. Put a little into our door lock, which was sticking, and poof, no more problems.
