Naturium The Glow Getter Whipped Multi-Oil Body Butter, Firming Cream & Body Moisturizer with Shea Butter, 7.7 fl oz

This body butter is pretty good at moisturizing, I’m not a fan of the smell but if you have sensitive skin and like to layer your lotions it’s a great product. The smell is neutral, light and kinda fragrance free? I can’t really explain it. I’ve wore it by itself and with a lotion on top of it and to me it’s about the same. Even after rubbing it in it’s a little greasy but it goes away after awhile, as far as it being fast absorbing it kinda is. It does make my skin soft which I like but it not something that I would rave about it’s pretty much like any other body butter to me.

First of all, I love that the jar is made of sturdy plastic instead of glass since I tend to be clumsy. It came with a clear sticker keeping the outer lid screwed onto the jar to deter tampering. There’s also an inner plastic lid to prevent the cream from smearing onto the outer lid, which is nice. The quality of this body butter has blown me away. The formula is rich, thick, and silky. At the same time, it doesn’t feel overly greasy or heavy on the skin. It spreads like a dream and moisturizes extremely well. The lovely vanilla and coconut fragrance is noticeable but isn’t overpowering. I’d recommend this to everybody. I just wish that Naturium would start selling refill pouches for their products.

I love this stuff. I have an extremely dry, discolored elbow that peels. I've tried prescription creams and every kind of lotion and cream for years. This isn't the miracle that's suddenly healed it in 2 weeks of use but rubbing it on 2 or 3 times a day has helped stop the peeling and has kept it soft and less alligator skin looking. I have read reviews about it smelling bad when first opened. It did for me too and I considered returning it for that reason. The first use after opening didn't smell good at all. I used it on my arms and the weird smell stuck with me but I liked how it felt on my skin. After it sat for a day or 2 on the shelf the bad smell went away. It began to smell almost like freshly sharpened pencils then another day or 2 it smelled more like shea butter. I can't explain it. The scent now is very light and doesn't linger more than a few minutes after applying. My advice to anyone ready to return on first smell, wait 2 or 3 days. It works beautifully after a shower/bath. It feels like it would be a little greasy going on but it absorbs quickly. It leaves a nice silky soft feeling after a few minutes. I'm over 50 with dry skin prone to itching. If I have time I reapply it mid day to exposed arms and legs. I know it's a body butter and not specifically for the face, there's better options for the face, but it's been good for me on dry patches under my cheeks to jawline. It leaves a nice glow on makeup free days and helps soften those fine lines. One last thing I saw others comment on is skin sloughing off when used. I personally didn't experience that. I found a long time ago that a little exfoliating in the shower helps any lotion, cream or oil go on better. I know this a long review. Thank you for reading.

I usually use another thick, perfumed lotion that is much more expensive, but I like this one so much better. The price is very good! The lotion is very moisturizing and thick. The smell is not strong and pleasant. My skin stays moisturized for a very long time. My skin also feels incredibly soft afterwards and for the rest of the day and night! I would recommend for sensitive skin as well as dry skin. My husband likes it so much he just requested I buy him his own for his gym locker.

I really enjoy this body butter. I pair it with the body wash and it leaves my skin feeling so moisturized and glowy. The scent is very subtle and gets better over time. Everything about this product feels very clean and luxurious. I would give it five stars but I think if you apply too much it doesn't absorb into your skin as well, could definitely just be user error though.

I have the weirdest skin - it's sensitive and so finicky, but I have had ZERO issues with this body butter and I love the way it feels. I usually am a post-shower lotioner and this feels like it genuinely works and absorbs into the skin while staying super lightweight! I kept getting lotion after lotion that sat SO heavily on my skin, it felt like it trapped in heat and gave that awful sweaty feeling, but I've NEVER experienced that with this body butter. I've also noticed a huge difference when I use it on my winter hands - I can put some on my painfully cracked hands before bed and will wake up with substantially softer, more moisturized hands that aren't as painful (just don't expect a miracle - of course, it doesn't magically heal them). I saw it has negative marks for scent but it smells like the ingredients and I find it very, very subtle, plus there's no lingering scent at all for me. Considering effectiveness and that a little goes a long way, I'm pretty sold on the product. I use the regular lotion on myself and my kiddos and it's also great! Three cheers for Naturium!

Absolutely worth the purchase! Have used twice a day since it arrived and can notice a difference in my skin, especially during winter months. I do use self tanner a few times a month, which dries my skin out as well and this has helped keep my skin stay hydrated and soft. It is a bit on the oily side, depending on how much of it you use, so I would suggest waiting a few minutes to let it soak in some before putting pants on. A small about goes a long way! Scent is clean and refreshing.

This stuff is so nice! Creamy and rich but still rubs in easily. Keeps my skin so hydrated. Scent is very light, maybe like a soft vanilla. Which is great because it doesn't compete with perfumes or other fragrances I wear. I initially bought the trial size, but I quickly bought the full size when I realized how great it is. Paired with the Glow Getter Cleansing Oil is amazing. Will definitely buy again.
