A neighbour of ours had their car broken into, and I was instantly worried about our car being targeted by thieves. This pouch takes all the worry away. As soon as I popped the key into the pouch the signal was immediately blocked and no matter how close I got to my car (I was even leaning against the door at one point) the car just would not open. The pouch is an excellent size - I can put it in my handbag with no fuss and I can easily find it again when I need it and it also has room for some cards - I like to put any parking tickets in there so i dont lose them. Overall I am very pleased.

Blocks the signal as expected. As both my husband and I have a bunch of keys rather than just the one car key, we have a problem in so much as the whole bunch won't fit in. We've managed by just sliding the car key inside and leaving the rest dangle outside. In hindsight I wish I'd bought a larger pouch to do the job. If it's just the one or even two keys you have, then I think you can buy this with confidence.

Well I'm a bit surprised having bought these in 2019 because I thought that these had been giving me some protection against theft, however I bought a new car recently and thought I would test the effectiveness of these with my new keys and was shocked to see that with the closed pouch in my pocket I could still open the car. As you can see from the photos, the keys are in the correct compartment and that it is closed fully but yet I could still open my car. I then tried with the pouch 5 feet from the car and it remained locked, however taking the keys out and having them 5 feet away the car still remained locked and so this wasn't because of any protection the pouch was allegedly giving.

My friend’s partner had his van broken into by thieves who manage to unlock the van simply by using some sort of frequency device which they pointed through a house window at his key so that his key unlocked the van on the drive. They stole 1000s of pounds of tools and equipment. They broke into 2 other vans on the same road on the same night. I was shocked but managed to find these RFID key pouches on Amazon. They arrived within 36 hours which was very good. You get 2 pouches per pack. Great pouches, good quality and room for a small bunch of keys. I put my own car key in a pouch and pressed unlock with the pouch closed. It absolutely would not unlock my car so scoring a perfect 10 out of 10 for doing what its supposed to. Perfect to keep the contents of your car or van safe and highly recommended.

Perfect for use in the house. We always keep the car keys by the front door so you can grab them as you leave the house on a morning, however, with this new unlocking key - this is now too close to the car on the drive, so it kept making the car unlock itself. We now keep it in the pouch by the door and the signal is blocked so the car stays locked and we dont have to worry about it. It came much quicker than expected and well packaged. Would recommend. Really good.

Bought this as my new car has one of those contactless fobs and I’ve heard about people cloning them and stealing cars so I figured better to be safe than sorry. It works well, when the key is in the pouch the car won’t register it at all so I know it definitely works. It has another little pouch too which is handy for my house key.

With the rise of remote access (boosted) car theft for those case with comfort/convenient access these pouches just block the radio signals between the key and the car.I recently purchased a car with the comfort access feature so bought a couple of these as an extra layer of protection, even though I think my car (BMW X3 G01) isn't one of those that is particularly effected.Anyway - the pouches definitely do the job. I put the key in the pouch, closed it up and put it right next to the door handle of the car - and it simply would not open.There's many of these pouches for sale on Amazon but these seemed to offer the best value for money and are decently made too.

This is far too big for a car key. I was expecting about a third of this size!
