Excellent and Durable Machine from Makita!
I purchased the Makita M0801B from Amazon, and I’m very happy with the performance. The build quality is solid and durable you can immediately feel it’s a heavy-duty machine meant to last. It easily handles 16mm drilling without any trouble, and the power is just perfect for both home and professional use. A great point to note: by registering the product online, you get 1 year warranty (otherwise 6 months by default).

It's been 4+ months... working good..
Easily drilled.. (1) brick masonry walls (purchased separate bits for concrete= "bits_C" ) (2) concrete walls (same above "bits_C") (3) (4) wood (Metal bits came along with machine) (5) didn't tried on metal Con:- i got machine with wobbling bit holder, i didnt replace as im in hurry to complete my work @ home.. but it doesn't made any difficulty for me to work.. and don't want go with any other brand in same price segment as that all brands like BOSCH, Black&Decker, Black+Decker, has many cons and low power performance, availability of parts in future and quality issues.. I'm happy with Japanese Makita power tool...

I like it for non-commercial home use
Good one, light high RPM and good power. I have no complaints and find good value for money for the brand Makita. Now, we need to see on long term, how long does it last. I have used it as frequently as possible and found it to be OK, for home use and small commercial use. I would not recommend this one for outright commercial or rental. Also, I would recommend more for softer surface, wood and tiles work at home.
