Value for money product
I am using this device from couple of months . I like it value for money . First off all I like is the service and response on any of my questions regarding installation and reinstalling. I am happy with the service and response .

Issues with the app!
Now, the product itself is fairly good (barring some minor drawbacks), but the app (ewelink app - available free on play store) that is used to primarily tie all things together has issues. The switch does not work without the ewelink app! Even Alexa needs the app working properly. The app authenticates you using their cloud server and lets you handle the switch remotely. It's mainly used to setup and register the switch over wifi so Alexa can recognize it. This ewelink app is provided by a partner company and its servers keep going down time to time, sometimes a whole day or more. When the app is down, the switch does not work remotely, which beats the entire purpose of buying the product. The most important point is that there is no support available for the app. You need to visit the app's FB page to get any updates on whether their servers are down (if at all they've provided an update). The app is again down for more than a day as of this review, with no estimated time provided for resolution. Therefore, if a downtime of a day or so intermittently is alright for your planned usage, you may go for this product.I will again review the product over time if services on the ewelink app improve.
