The UDM Pro Max has been a solid upgrade. I paired it with the XG 10G switch and the whole network feels smoother and faster. No drama, no random slowdowns. What I really like is how easy it is to run things like ad-blocking and extra security tools. You don’t need weird workarounds or extra hardware. Everything sits neatly inside the UniFi dashboard and just works. Traffic stays stable even when multiple devices push big files. The interface is simple enough that you can check what’s happening on the network without digging through menus once you get the hang of it. Overall, it’s a clean, powerful setup that actually feels worth the money even though it might be a on the expensive side once you start building it piece by piece the $$ adds up. Yet better than any all in ones.

Fantastico dispositivo per una rete professionale! Ho acquistato questo Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Machine Pro Max per gestire la rete del mio ufficio e sono davvero impressionato dalle sue prestazioni. La configurazione è stata intuitiva grazie all'interfaccia chiara e user-friendly, e la possibilità di gestire più VLAN mi ha permesso di separare facilmente i dispositivi per sicurezza e organizzazione (ad esempio, domotica e videosorveglianza). I porti ad alta velocità, come il 10 Gbps SFP+ e il 2,5 Gbps WAN, sono perfetti per la mia connessione in fibra, garantendo una stabilità e una velocità incredibili. Inoltre, apprezzo molto le funzionalità avanzate di routing e il firewall integrato, che mi danno un controllo totale sulla sicurezza della rete. Anche il consumo energetico è ragionevole per un dispositivo di questa potenza. Lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque abbia bisogno di un gateway di livello professionale, sia per uso business che per ambienti domestici complessi. Ubiquiti non delude mai!

Wie alle Ubiquiti Produkte aus der Unifi Serie funktioniert es tadellos. Es werden diverse Kameras und APs damit gesteuert. Würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen.

J’utilise le UbiQuiti UDM-Pro-Max derrière une connexion fibre à 8 Gbps, et je suis vraiment impressionné par ses performances. Cet appareil simplifie énormément la gestion réseau avec une interface claire et intuitive. Il fait office de pare-feu et de routeur interne robuste, tout en gérant efficacement plusieurs VLANs pour isoler distinctement mes environnements : home lab, domotique, vidéosurveillance, invités, famille, etc. La présence de ports 10 Gbps SFP+ et 2,5 Gbps WAN garantit la compatibilité avec les infrastructures fibre les plus récentes. (Attention quand même à prévoir un transceiver si, comme moi, votre box opérateur ne propose pas de port SFP, mais éthernet !) Malgré ces performances de calibre professionnel, la consommation reste contenue, autour de 60W maximum, ce qui est correct pour un appareil de cette puissance et la fiabilité qu’il apporte. Adapté aussi bien aux environnements techniques avancés qu’aux usages exigeants en domotique et informatique. Il permet un contrôle réseau très fin, sécurise les accès avec un firewall intelligent et offre une évolutivité à toute épreuve.
