The small birds in our yard love these seeds, but the bag arrived with two cuts in it. My assumption is that these cuts are from a blade used to open a larger box of these bags (in an Amazon warehouse.) I opened the large box containing this bag + another large item by hand. Caution: When you pull this bag from the box (or bag) it comes shipped in, watch out for seeds emerging from the bag.

I bought this blend because I wanted a dependable daily mix for my small birds, including canaries, parakeets, and finches. I was hoping for something that would cover their basic nutrition with a balance of seeds and grains, so feeding would be simple and consistent. Day to day, I fill the seed cup each morning and the birds go for it. The mix includes canary grass seed, red and white millets, and wholesome grains, which keeps their diet varied and appealing. When I first switched from another blend I followed the label guidance and the transition went smoothly. What stood out is how the enrichment in vitamins and minerals seems to show in practice. The birds look a bit more energetic and their plumage seems brighter, and there’s less leftover seed after meals because they’re more engaged with the food. A small note is that there can be a short adjustment period when introducing a new formula, so following the transition guidelines helps. Overall I’m happy with this universal blend for my small birds and it feels like a 5-star option for them.

No birds are eating it! I feel sad. 🥹 It may be the acrylic, see through birdhouse. Maybe they’re scared or can’t see the perch. 🤷‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ I gave it 5 stars because it was very inexpensive and looks like quality?!?

I’ve purchased this bird seed 26 times, the last two times it seems to have a lot of shells or dust in it. I’ve actually put it in a sieve to try to get rid of it. Have you changed your supplier? Even the seed seems to be lighter in color. Not sure if I’m going to keep buying.

As per my budgie, he loves it. He's been eating this mix for 3 weeks and he is the happiest budgie. Highly recommend. Will purchase again.
