Excellent spread, consistent quality
Excellent, iconic product - have been having it for several years, on toast for breakfast, the quality has been consitent. But it is an acquired taste, I think - not everyone likes it, but whoever does, swears by it. Not easily available in Indian supermarkets, so Amazon is the only source I know. Seems to be over-priced, though.

Marmite review.
The Marmite arrived safely with no damage to the packaging. Pairs wonderfully with meat sandwiches but it is equally enjoyable in something as simple as a classic slice of toasted bread with a spread of butter (I prefer unsalted) and a little bit of Marmite.

great taste but too salty
I love the taste, but for a lot of people it will be too salty. Better to go for vegemite instead for most people.

Strangely alluring paste
A great buy. The bitter marmite taste has to be cultivated, by beginning with only a limited, sugar grains size, helping, put on the corner of a buttered toast. Even as one grows to like this vitamin-rich spread, one can never go in for a largish helping - its usp is it's smallish use, the optimum usually a quarter spoon. Not a cheap paste, but well worth opening up one's taste buds to the new or unusual.

For hard-core Marmite lovers, there is no substitute. However, this is only for those who have an acquired taste for this product. Has a bitter salty caramel taste. Best to mix with equal portion of unsalted butter and a thick spread over a toasted sandwich.

ベジタリアン期間中にトライしてみたのですが、目が覚めるような気分でした。 栄養価があるので健康食品みたいなイメージですが、カレーにいれてもコクがでて美味しかったです。 一般的には、パンにバターと一緒に塗って楽しむようですが、ちょっと口寂しいときにスプーンひとすくいをなめたりもしてます。 梅干しと同じで、見ると口がジュっとすっぱくなるような気分になって、つい、食べたくなるような商品です。 現在は、ベジタリアンではありませんが、ベジタリアンや集中ダイエットをされている方は、補助栄養食品としても優秀だと思います。

期待外れ
不味い不味いと言われて興味本位で購入。 実際は旨味があり香りもビールの華やかさもあって普通に美味しいです。 ビール風味の味噌、多国籍料理の味噌といった印象で日本人は好きな人が多いかもしれません。 不味さの期待は外れましたがパンい塗るなどだけでなく調味料としても便利です。
