Amazon's delivery and customer service is super efficient. Got the product 10 days before the estimated date. It is a very sophisticated looking product. Works extremely well. Let me just down a few pros and cons - Pros 1) very good looks 2) does not make any noise (nose of the fan is there but it's minimal and non-obtrusive) 3) has coasters... So you can move it around easily 4) good swing and now functions 5)has a remote, so you don't have to get up from your bed to switch off or reduce speed 6)hardly consumed any electricity 7) does not increase humidity or spray water or create any discomfort in hyderabad climate 8)good cooling function 9) you can use it as a fan during summers Cons 1) consumes lot of water... 31 liters week go empty if you run it for 10-12 hrs non stop 2) the horizontal seeing swivel just hands down. You will have to prop it up by lifting it and keeping something before it for support. 3) the power cord is not very long... So you will have to keep it very close to the plug point. I recommend buying a extension cord if you really want to move this around at your home Overall a very nice functional elegant product you will be proud to show off. It does what it is designed to do and did it well. Trust me guys, this is more than enough to beat the summer heat. Don't waste money on air conditioners of you stay in any of the dry cities in India like hyderabad or Delhi, Gurgaon, noida, Ahmedabad, jaipur etc.

My earlier cooler failed and even though it's not yet time for summer, we needed to buy one. My main requirement was one with remote and this lone model was the only option. So we placed the order. The fan is powerful, even at low speeds. The cooler is bit tall. Works fine. What I realized is that the button panel is on top, so when you want to operate it with remote, it's not visible. The panel should have been on the front side. We did not realize this at the time of buying. This is bit wrong (inconvenient) design I suppose. It makes somewhere between low to moderate noise which is normal I think. No concerns on noise. If not urgent wait for more models to be launched this summer and then decide.

My initial experience with this product was not bad. There was some initial mystery around the tentative date of delivery, but after a few days of placing the order I was provided with a delivery date and the product was delivered accordingly. It also provided great relief from the unnaturally hot summer that we experienced in Bangalore this year, and while it doesn't cool the entire room, as long as you're in the line of the draft you will feel much needed respite from the heat. I thought i'd use it for a while before writing a review, and I'm glad I waited. About a month after I acquired this cooler, it stopped cooling. On examination, I observed that the valve through which water is pumped from the storage to the water tray was not working, as a result of which water was not flowing onto the cooling pads -> thus no cooling. My cooler is still under warranty so I raised a complaint on the Symphony Website ('Log a Service Call'). I receive a message from them that my request has been assigned to a maintenance engineer, but I do not hear from him for over two weeks. Then I receive a text message saying that since they were 'unable to reach me for three days' they were closing my request and I'd have to raise a fresh one. This was mighty strange since my phone had been reachable throughout the course of those three days, and I did not have any missed calls. So i raised another service request on the website and also complained about the unfair closure of my first complaint. I immediately received a call from the customer care apologising for the trouble and assuring me that a maintenance engineer would attend to my problem. Meanwhile, I received an SMS with the number of the maintenance engineer and a note that he would get in touch with me. Learning from my experience, I called him instead - he seemed very prompt and promised to come home the next day to fix the problem. Now, I am a working person and I live by myself so I got permission to work from home the next day so that this could be attended to - but after promising that he was coming/ on his way etc. for most part of the day, there was no sign of the engineer making a physical appearance. He promised to come the next day (today) - so again, I waited at home. In the morning when I spoke to him he said another maintenance engineer had been assigned the job and was on his way to my place. Many calls later and long story short, its 8.30 PM and no sign of the engineer. Point being, if you are spending 10,000 rupees on an air cooler that works for a month, and you do not even get remotely decent customer service after that (they expect you to sit at home all day for days at a stretch waiting for their mechanic who is 'on the way') - you'd rather place a tub of ice under the fan and get through the summer.. UPDATE: My efforts to get the cooler serviced continued for the next 4 months at the least, and i sent innumerable messages and lodged innumerable complaints, but absolutely no response from Symphony - and no sign of any repair engineer. Don't waste your money.

I bought this cooler about a year and a half back and it has been working wonders till date! Absolutely beautiful and super functional provided you know how to use it well. Remember its a cooler not an air conditioner, so it's best suited for dry climate. Also, always make sure the room it's being used in has proper air ventilation. Keep the windows open for air circulation. It cools a room of 10x10 easily if the swing mode is on. Throw is good for 4-5 feet! If you fill the water level to max, it can cool for upto 8-9 hours, so throughout the night cooling is possible. And it's a machine which needs maintenance, so clean the filters once in a while... It opens up easily from the back using a screw driver. You can clean it with water and then dry it and put it back. Overall, I'm very happy with this product! It has delivered value worth much more than what I paid!

As far as noise level, usage of remote, and portability is concerned the product is reasonably good enough. However, when the temperature goes above 35 degrees, the coolness is very poor. Thus it is ineffective for any place where the summer temperature goes above 35 degrees. Secondly, as we are paying about 9000 rupees, surely the company can provide their customers with a tube for filling water. Thirdly, the cooler is good for a small part of a small room (10*10). If used in the hall, even with all the doors and windows open, it is totally useless.

Just go for it, for the price it worth it, remote was very easy to operate but need to stored carefully its like a car audio system remote, cooling vise it does the job pretty well, dont close the window while running place it near to open windows so that you get a max coolong effort, fan speed was high, noise level was average, water dripping sound was little bit unconfy at night sleep,but once you get used to this sound it may not be a issue, overall very veed one in terms of quality and design, but little costly side i get it for 8.9k

Well starting from the product itself. It definitely solved the purpose I bought it for. Amazing for a single room. I just love the way it purifies the air and you can feel like a cold breeze flowing through the room. It has a remote control with it, which is absolutey simple to operate and you can control the air intensity, the water cooler, the swing, on/off, and nevertheless the timer if you wish to automatically switch it off after few hours. It is a small handy cooler which is light in weight and easy to refill and clean. It also has a ice column which works pretty well. Now the delivery part. I received it on time. The person was very gentle and I received it with no loopholes. Overall, the best personal cooler one can get. Loving it till now. Let's see if it keeps on working this well for summers to come.
