I'm becoming a Godox fanboy. This trigger is everything I was looking for and more. I use it with my Sony a7riv and they really listened to feedback on this design. My criticism of their previous models were that they were bulky, and used a plastic hotshoe, which broke on me during a big shoot and would have been big trouble if I hadn't brought a spare. This one is super compact, has a sturdy metal hot shoe (finally), and the touch screen gives you an intuitive way to make tweaks, once you learn how to use it. There's a bit of a learning curve. So I recommend reading the manual and practicing with it a bit before using it during any important moments. Range hasn't been a problem for me at all either. I've used it outdoors from a hundred feet away, and also triggered strobes indoors from a different room. You're not going to find a better flash trigger for this money.I also chuckled when I noticed that when you turn the X3S upside down, it spells out something unexpected. :D
