Awesome sword for just under $200! I was skeptical buying thought somethings wld be loose but HMS has great craftsmanship. This sword feel battle ready! And it’s sharp! I learned that first hand because I actually accidentally cut my finger. However, I plan on buying another more expensive one soon.

Excellent build quality, excellent weight and balance. Almost no blade vibration on impacts from block. Blade is very sharp. Sword clings to its scabbard properly when sheathed even while upside down. Perfect for ninja.

I ordered this samurai sword for my 15 year old son for Christmas. I had always assumed that a "real" samurai sword would cost closer to thousands so I was a bit skeptical about the price and description. I was absolutely shocked and very pleasantly surprised at the quality, look, feel, packaging, beauty... Everything was 5 star!!!! Comes in a great cylinder tube with Asian theme, then the sleeve for the sword, great looking blade, sharp enough to be dangerous (just be responsible!), the red handle feels great and beautiful, shiny mirrored blade (picture looked more like a black blade) but this is better. Will actually order more for myself and other sizes since I can trust the company 100%. Absolutely recommend.
