KOSE Softy mo Deep Cleansing Oil, 230ml

This is a really solid cleansing oil! I use it as the first step in my nightly double cleanse. It is definitely thick and hydrating, but it emulsifies well and removes my makeup and sunscreen easily. Make sure to start on dry skin, rub it in, then emulsify with water before rinsing off. It leaves the skin feeling very hydrated and not greasy, but I would follow up with a non-oil cleanser unless you have very dry skin. I have noticed an improvement in my pores and sebaceous filaments since incorporating this into my routine. I was initially hesitant to purchase as I have very sensitive skin, made even more sensitive by tretinoin, and this cleanser has a heavy orange/citrus scent. However, my skin has had no issues with the scent at all, even around my eyes. At such a good price point, I'll happily keep this cleansing oil in my routine!

This really works great. I wear multiple layers of sunscreen, from my moisturizer, foundation and cc cream. Takes it all off very well. The bottle I received did not have the English translation on the back, but I just snapped a picture of it on Amazon. I will be buying the refill bag when I finish this bottle. It does leave my face feeling nourished without any residue. I have combination skin and it works very well for me.

A little too oily, not that I would stop using or return, probably good for those with dry skin, but a bit heavy for people with oily skin.

This is the best oil cleanser I have ever tried. I originally found it at a Japanese drugstore and I’m delighted to find it on Amazon as well! Unlike other oil cleaners I’ve tried, this one is super thin and doesn’t feel heavy on the face. It literally melts all of my makeup off so easily and gently. I have super duper sensitive skin and this is so soothing and doesn’t irritate me at all. There is also no residue after you wash it off. I actually look forward to doing my skincare at night just because I love how this feels on my face. It’s almost therapeutic. Not to mention, it has a nice subtle smell too. You don’t need those viral $30 Korean oil cleansers you see on TikTok. This one is just as good and cheaper!

My go to is the original pink bottle one by the same brand but I decided that I wanted to try this one out and so far I like it. I do feel like it does do a deep cleansing very well. However, personally I feel like it takes a bit of time to completely wash off my face but that could be due to the water temperature I use. Other than that 10/10 would recommend!

This is my favorite way to remove makeup. You start with your hands and face dry, rub the oil, then wet your hands and rub your face again. The oiliness disappears and your face feels clean, soft, and moisturized. Will and have repurchased!
