My 15 year old dog is on prednisone to treat inflammation in her spine as well as vestibular disease. Unfortunately, that causes her to have diarrhea. Her pancreas isn't working well either so even the slightest amount of fat in her diet also causes diarrhea. This Propectalin paste stops the diarrhea but does not cause constipation and I love that it contains probiotics. My girl is excessively and notoriously picky when it comes to food and even to treats, so I thought there would be a struggle getting this paste in her. To my amazement, she absolutely loves the taste.

My dog has sensitive tummy issues and beyond giving her pumpkin in her meals, if she ever shows signs of an upset stomach, we give her some of this and it stops it in its tracks. Then we freeze the tube for later use! It's saved us so I highly recommend.

I use this at first sign of any loose stool and it has definitely helped. Keep in mind if it doesn't take your pup to the vet.

My wife took our Chihuahua (Chiquita) to the vet due to her having very loose stools and vomiting a few months ago and the vet sent her home with this (come to find out Chiquita has gastritis). Since then we use this product for both our dogs and we recommend it to our family for their dogs as well. It helps settle their stomach almost right away and helps harden their stools without constapating them... I would definitely recommend this product!
