Very easy to set up and use, mills grains beautifully
This grain mill is a wonderful item to help with my sourdough bread making. It is super easy to attach to my KitchenAid mixer. I always put it on the finest setting to mill my grains. It grinds my grains pretty consistently but sometimes I do need to put them back through for a 2nd mill, if the pieces seem larger than I would like. It is a little noisy if my husband is watching TV. This is an excellent option to mill grains for anyone who already has a KitchenAid mixer - much more cost effective than a stand alone mill.

I got this to crack corn.
I had to make some spacers because it wanted to make corn meal even on the lowest setting. Works great!

The All Metal Grain Mill Attachment for KitchenAid has been such a great addition to our kitchen setup. I love being able to grind the way I want and when I want, whether it’s coarse, fine, or somewhere in between. The 12 grind levels make it easy to get the perfect texture every time. The flour comes out fresh and flavorful, and it’s amazing how much better homemade breads and baked goods taste with freshly milled grains. Nice for the price. Good introductory mill.
Nice unit. Grinds flint corn all the way to flour in only a few passes. Cleanup is easy. It does fet warm, so follow the manufacturer's instructions regarding cool down.

Not great value.
Does not mill very well. We used it at the finest setting and it was still extremely rough. Would not recommend.

we use it to grind not just the flour berries but also to make cornmeal/masa since our kids seem to think we sit around a campfire making old timey popcorn and buy us 5 pounds every Christmas. *we've never popped corn like that.
