Rejoice

Throughout my entire life, whenever I have listened to music, I have always spent the time wondering what I was missing on Radio 4. I have always liked music but just not as much as thought provoking discussions or comedy etc. UNTIL NOW. I am so excited to have found a type of music that really excites me. I do actually find it exciting. The tingle factor. Her voice just gets me. I think I like it more when she sings with less vibrato. I just find that her voice touches my emotions in a way that I have never experienced with music. I am 39 years of age. This is life-changing stuff. I don't know if anyone will ever read this but it is a good opportunity for me to broadcast the fact that I have been awoken. Maybe I will be able to find other singers that will have even more impact on me. I am sorry that she is receiving the Nigella Lawson treatment to a certain extent. Yes, she's a pretty girl but she's got a very brilliant gift, and I have been taking advantage of it. I'm off to listen to Radio 4.

this album was purchased as a gift for a friend as I already had the original Rejoice album and enjoyed it very much.As with all Katherine Jenkins collections this is a delightful mix of songs. I can recommend it highly.

Katherine Jenkins is beautiful to listen to and on this album, I feel she sits next to me wherever I am and the songs are just for me. I wish I was 30 years younger, good looking and her special friend. I have adored her and her talent since I got her first album. I look forward to anything she does next. She said she was waiting till she got older before crossing fully to classical and starting in Opera. In a lot of ways I am glad she has not done this yet, since I would travel the world to listen to her and I only have my pension!

As usual Ms Jenkins voice of an angel.Used the last track for my Mum's cremation."All the things you mean to me" in Italian.Not too upsetting but Softly put to sleep with beauty and love.

I loved this CD. There are a couple of songs that prior to hearing this, I didn't like. But Katherine's version changed my mind. And the thing is about her, is that somehow she trancends the song, so that the music, her voice and Katherine, herself, create something so magical. This really comes out for me here. I have some of her other CDs, but this is by far my favourite, despite my reservations about some titles.

This is the first of Katherine's CDs I have purchased, and I think I made an excellent choice. There are some beautiful songs on this CD, and only I couple I already knew. I could listen to this CD over and over again, and still feel the same.

When I heard her perform with Andrea Bocelli during a PBS Christmas special, I was amazed with her clarity, range, and volume. I researched her on Amazon, and purchased Sacred Arias, along with other selections. I was not disappointed! Her style, language, and quality are simply terrific. She is one of the few classical artist with whom I enjoy listening while I'm engaged in the day's activities. I'm sure her parents are very grateful that she has developed her beautiful vocal talents.

I love this singer and her music. My only critique would be that some of the songs are not necessarily new but have been sung by many artists in the past.

I first heard Katarine Jenkins voice on an airplane audio system enroute to Africa in May. I was mesmerized with the beauty of her sound. When in Africa, I met several couples from the UK and asked them if they knew of his British singer named Katarine Jenkins.....to which all responded in the affirmative and told me how popular she was there. A Scot pointed out that she was Welsh. Well, I ordered her CD from Amazon immediately on my return to the US and have been delighted to be able to listen to her daily in my automobile.....a wonderful range, clear, crisp, lilting voice. The songs she sings in Rejoice are wide-ranging - show tunes to neo-classical. She is magnificent.
