Brilliant fan! Cool air! Love it! Just 1 thing ain't getting around the essential oil thingy to work. I have tried adding the essential oil but nothing worked. What am I doing wrong?

Remote stop working after a week

Very impressed with this fan. Bought on a prime day deal in early summer after our last fan died of old age last year. We have a divan bed so wanted to make sure we could get a fan tall enough to reach us but also wanted a tower fan due ease of size and looks. Save to say we were not disappointed with this one. Various settings and a powerful air flow. Most of the time we have had this set on the lowest setting as find the strongest one a bit much later in the night. For the amount of flow the noise level is also really good and is quite quiet compared to our old fan. We really appreciate being able to have a remote and enables us to have the fan a little further way from the bed and not be inconvenienced by having to get up and change the settings. That said the timer function is also really helpful. This fan is taller than most tower fans without being obnoxious and in your way. Our only gripe with the fan is that the essential oil scent thing does absolutely nothing. We placed some lovely smelling oils in it the first night and you wouldn’t be any the wiser that they were in there. Fortunately this was not the main reason we bought the fan so it has not bothered us.

This is an easy to use fan, bright enough display on the top, remember is it a big boy! so please take note of the size and don't be a silly goose like me who had to do a little bit of rearranging to fit this guy in his place. The different power settings are great, highest setting is quite loud and windy, I suppose that's the point though The remote works great - as long as you’re standing directly in front of the fan, making intense eye contact, and whispering your request like you’re summoning an ancient wind god It’s become my number 1 fan - both literally and emotionally. If it ever stopped working I’d simply have to sit in a silent room and reflect on all the good times we had. Actually genuinely impressed with this fan, good quality and price too
