I bought this in order to give my grandson the moon. The quality is amazing! The images are so clear and bright. The projection unit sets up quickly and I was able to adjust the clarity of the images easily just by turning the lens. The colors of the different solar systems are beautiful. It’s like actually looking at the night sky. This was a great purchase!

Honestly impressed by how good the images projected are. They are nice and high def, the rotation speeds are appropriate. Love that it comes with all these different options. It's overall easy to use and looks great! I'd recommend.

Considering the cost, this little projector is a powerhouse. Pros: * light weight * reallt clear image when set the suggested 6' away * multiple discs for different views * gorgeous default image of moon, Milky Way, Amdromeda and an asteroid * bright enough to serve as a night light for young kids * not bright enough to disturb sleep * cost vs value feels excellent * option to stop image rotation * 1 hour, 2 hour and 4 hour (default) auto-shutoff timer Cons: * power cable felt a little short so I used a longer one * image gets a little distorted and stretched in a far corner (but may be an error with placement) * no option to stay on without a timer Overall, I expected a star projector that was far more cheesy, but this little thing really has been impressive.

UPDATE: 2 months later - the color in the disk does not last. Now the picture is almost bleached on the ceiling. Part of this is because I haven't changed the disc, but that means even if you did switch them up frequently, eventually they all would have that bleached look to them. I bought this for the baby's room, thinking it would help her settle at night. Now all of my family members want one. It comes with 13 different discs so you get a wide variety of cosmic scenes to look at. It's very easy to change them out. I really like that the discs come in a little case so you don't loose them (not easily anyways). It has a timer so you can have it turn off after 1 or 2 hours. It tilts and moves around so you can find the perfect spot on your ceiling. Honestly, it's super cool whether you're 9 months old or 38. Another thing I like about it is that the projections aren't animated or CG. They look real.

The projector was really cool in the beginning. It was bright and colorful. After some time of use, the colors fade and turn muddy and not clear anymore. Also I don’t like that it turns off after a certain amount of time. My kid likes the light on the whole time. The photo is how the colors are muddy now.
