After a few years the rubber has severely degraded and the magnets are showing. Fine for a knife not for gun finishes thought.

Very strong magnets hold a pistol securely. Work exactly as advertised.

Supplied screw are useless!
Product itself works fine. Good tight hold but still not too hard to remove firearm. Two main issues. Each time I removed the magnet from the firearm there appeared to be some residue/grease left on the firearm from the rubber coating on the magnet. I simply placed a rag between the two and that solved the issue. Secondly the supplied screws are absolute crap. They are unnecessary small and weak. When installing, the first bent, the second stripped and the third broke in half. All this with a pilot hole already drilled. I just used a standard 1-1/4” wood screw to install and embedded it a little extra into the rubber so as not to scratch the firearm. Works fine now.

Good product holds pistols well.
Works great holding an aluminum body pistol and all steel pistol. The raised puck style from another company did not do well they are just holding magazines now. If using the double side tape to hold magnet while drilling holes all the drill shavings get stuck to rubber coating. So beware. All in all good product.

Magnet Good - Screws Complete Garbage
Don't plan on using the included screws with these magnets. They're soft as butter and strip, bend and break with the slightest pressure. Complete garbage. I have to find new screws that actually screw in to get it mounted to something. What did they save, 3 cents by using paper screws??? Ugh.
