Phenomenal little box!
I bought the Nuc15 Pro tall after considering the Nuc15 Pro+ originally. My primary use case is AI model inference R&D, data tweaking and testing, before running on production hardware in our data center. I don't have the desk space for a full size machine -- I needed something small and but still fast and efficient. This little machine is a beast. I filled it up with 96GB of crucial DDR5, and a 4TB stick of 2280 NVMe. The screw for the 2280 is a little small, and doesn't fit properly without using the included plastic spacer. I used a replacement NVMe long screw to make things easier. While there is an extra slot for a 2242 drive, considering getting the M2 adapter (part number NUCIOAES0CR), which allows converting the 2242 slot to another 2280, allowing up to 16TB of nvme storage. I do wish they included this adapter by default. To get this machine working properly with Pytorch/OpenVINO on Ubuntu 24.04.02, you need to use the Hardware Enablement (HWE) kernel. Ubuntu 24.04.03 should have the drivers built-into the kernel once it releases. The Pytorch docs for Intel GPUs do a pretty decent job of walking through the setup. All in, once you have the HWE kernel for 24.04.02 everything just works as expected - Thunderbolt 4, 2.5Gb Ethernet, OpenVINO, etc. If you're looking for something small but performant to just experiment and tinker, this is a fine machine for the price. 5/5 recommended!

No RAM
Great little runner! Ubuntu server runs like a rabbit vs the replaced NUC 11, Only problem was I missed the note about not including the RAM and had to wait for days for it to arrive!

Tiny and Powerful
Easy to set up, completely silent, very fast processing for standard uses, good storage capacity. Need to buy adapter for stereo speakers

These are great!
I build these for my small business clients. I've ordered over a dozen of them so far. They are more than powerful enough to do any office task. Takes about 5 minutes to install the drive and ram. It is a little tricky to get the BIOS updated but once you find the correct file for your model number on ASUS website its not to bad.

Refreshes by itself,can be annoying
I like it alot but it blinks out and refreshes too much. I have an Asus laptop which is excellent, not sure why the Nuc has issues

Awesome NUC
I use this a my local plex server... It's mind blowing how a PC this small can be so powerful. Easy to set up, build quality is nice and you can use nvme and or ssd drives. Well worth it!
