Without hesitation, I recommend this herbal concotion following a meal. If you haven't ever tried it be careful. Underberg is one of the foulest things that I've ever tasted, and one of the best tonics I have encountered after a long life of greedy consumption. It really helps with over indulgence or simple digestive upset. Interesting set of choices but for me, an integral part of my medikit.

A relative from Germany brought a few of these over years ago and gave me one to try. First time i ate some greasy food that didn't agree with me i grabbed one of these and swigged the whole bottle down. The first thing that struck me was the bitter flavor and burn of alcohol. I thought i just made my upset stomach worse, but as soon as Underberg hit my stomach i felt immediate relief. Since then, I have learned you don't need to drink the whole bottle but just drink enough of the tiny bottle to get relief. I take a bottle with me when i travel or any event where rich food will be served. I have not found anything that can help an upset stomach so well.

I’m a guy who has issues with bloating and just not feeling right after a meal. It doesn’t happen every time but when it does happen, I found that the Underberg really helps. I’ve taken Pepto and Tums and it really doesn’t work as well as Underberg does. It doesn’t taste the best but it does the job. Now I have it in the house all the time. The seller has gotten it to me right away, so I would order again.

These things are great. We discovered them at our local bar and subsequently bought a pack online. We start our night with an Underberg and a beer. Bonus points if we just ate a big, hefty meal. They're much better if you put them in the refrigerator, but don't put them in the freezer. I'm not sure what happens, but it's much more bitter. I'm assuming because the water content separates from the alcohol, and you get a mouthful of that at once. These do improve my mood as well. One is truly enough if chasing with beer. I've found anytime I have more than one, it's just too much. They're the perfect pregame.

I used to always bring a "case" of these home from Germany after a work trip concluded. Those travel days are over, but I'm ecstatic to still be able to get these in the states. It is hand down the best cure for indigestion or that feeling of being too full. After last Thanksgiving dinner our friends were complaining about over eating and I offered these up. They were skeptical at first, but went out and bought some the very next day!!
